Some green food can prevent and treat cancer, this general knowledge has been ascertained by many epidemiological investigations. They are important research works to refine effective elements from green food, to identify their anticancer effect, to study their mechanism and to observe clinical effect for cancer treatment. Lung cancer is a disease of high incidence rate, large endangerment ,complex pathogeny but unsatisfactory treatments, so it is nesscery to seek new drugs or measures for prevention and treatment the disease. Oltipraz is a nomoxic, nonmutagenic dithiolthine present in cruciferous vegetables. A lot of experiments have shown that oltipraz can protect against digestive system cancer, especially liver cancer; It was reported its protective effects to lung cancer at initiation and promotion stages in recent years. We have selected human fetal lung as experimental material and studied inhibition of human fetal lung carcinogenesis by oltipraz profoundly, then we also have researched molecular mechanism of protective effects and regulation of some genes expression by oltipraz.1. Inhibition of CSC - induced human fetal lung (HFL) carcinogenesis by oltipraz prior to CSC,oltipraz at same time CSC,oltipraz after CSC(i.e. oltipraz —CSC,oltipraz/CSC, CSC-oltipraz) and three positive and negative control groups treat: CSC, oltipraz, DMSO.
