At present, the increasment of incidence rate of congestive heart failure has become main medical care problem all over the world. And the main cause of congestive heart failure is coronary heart disease-myocardial infarction (MI). In recent 20 years, medicine department has set about to raise correlated therapy. But some deficiency also exists in pharmacotherapy and operative treatment at present. Angio-reconstruction therapy, such as thrombolysis therapy and emergency coronary angioplasty, can make infarct site of acute myocardial infarction refill in earlier period, reduce the area of infarction, protect cardiac function and raise the survival rate of patients. But it can't inverse myocardium of necrosis. Angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitor (ACEI) and beta- receptor blocker can improve prognosis of the patient with cardiac insufficiency. But it can't change the basic sauce of which reduced the quantity of cardiac myocyte of MI. Although heart transplanted to replace damaged heart, it is hard to apply extendedly due to limited donator. In recent years, with the development of molecular biology, it has become capable to increase the cardiac myocyte quantity in MI area and promote cardiac function using cell transplantation. So the therapy become very important in the treatment of congestive heart failure, and has prosperous future. The focal points of investigation now are as follows: (1) Selection of cell. It is very important to select suitable kind of cell, because it is not certain which kind of cell is better. (2) Animal model to be used in transplantation. Many of the myocardial ischemia model to be used are myocardium cryodamage, coronary artery ligation or embolism. These models are mimic myocardial infarction at some degree. But it is different from pathology of clinical coronary heart disease. It is necessery to try to find more myocardial...
