Nasal type NK/T cell lymphoma is a primary extranodal lymphoma with special morphology, immunophenotype and biological behavior, and which is highly associated with Epstein-Barr Virus (EBV) infection. Because the tumor cells are usually express of both T-cell differentiation antigens and NK cell associated antigens, and the exact lineage of the tumor is still in controversy. Nasal type NK/T cell lymphoma is used to identify the tumor now. It has been listed as an entity of lymphoma in the World Health Organization Classification for Tumors of Haematopoitic and Lymphoid Tissues published in 2001. Nasal type NK/T cell lymphoma occupies a relatively higher incidence in Asia and South America regions than that of in Europe and North America, so that it is a special entity in Asia and also in China. About 60 cases of the tumor are newly diagnosed each year, it occupies about 18.75% of all lymphoma cases and 20% of all non-Hodgkin lymphoma cases in the Department of pathology West China Hospital. Midfacial region is the most common involved site by this tumor, thebiopsy tissue is usually too small to be used for further study except for diagnosis and immunophenotype analysis. No enough tissue samples are the major obstacle for advanced research in this tumor. Establishment of Nude Mice Model and the cell line of Human Nasal Type NK/T Cell Lymphoma is the way to solve the problem. There are several established cell lines of the tumor are reported in journals but animal modal.Tumor are gene diseases, and tumorigenesis is complex with multistep involved many factors, such as active of oncogenes while inactive of suppress genes. The express change of tumor associated genes may be play important role in tumorgenesis. Gene chip is a technique screening gene expression on a genomic scale make the most obvious opportunity possible to know any gene express change. cDNA microarrays make it easy to measure the transcripts for every gene at once. cDNA microarrays have enabled measurement of the expression of thousands of genes in a single experiment for the systematic and comprehensive exploration of genome-wide alterations in tumor cells. Distinct types of diffuse large B cell lymphoma (DLL), which show markedly different clinical courses and treatment responses apparently reflecting the variation in tumor proliferation rate, host response, and differentiation state of tumor, have been identified and diagnosed by gene expression profiling with cDNA microarrays (Alizadeh, 2000). Oka et al (2001) analyzed the expression pattern of the human NK/T cell lymphoma cell line (NK-YS) genome by cDNA expression array found a strong decrease in hematopoietic cell specific protein-tyrosine-phosphatase-1 (Src-Homology domain 2- containing Protein Tyrosine Phosphatase-1.
