The clinical job of oral prosthetics is to fabricate the various dentures. The materials of prosthesis include metal, alloy, porcelain and resin. The shaping of prosthesis is the main direction of research. With the development of sci-technique great changes have been taken in shaping of alloy and metal. New techniques come out continually. But these new techniques can not be instead of the traditional way completely. In the end of 80's 20th century, the Rapid Prototyping (RP) has grown up in the manufacture field around the world and RP is applied in medical research quickly. In 90's 20th century, Laser Engineered Net Shaping (LENS), which is a hot-point in the manufacture field, was developed and the great advantages are shown up in manufacturing metal and porcelain. In this thesis, based on the analysis of the current manufactures of dental prosthesis, there is an opinion that fabricate molar full crown with RP and LENS.Conclusions presented in this paper can be summarized as follows:1. Reverse Engineering can be used to reconstruction the prosthesis. The 3D surface information of the prosthesis can be collected by the laser scan system and there is no blind area.2. The software which can change SCN data into STL Style was designed. The problem of exchanges in image style has been resolved.3. With stereolithography (SL) technique the molar resin crown was fabricated. The technical routine that shape the dental prosthesis with RP was found.4. The proper technical parameters of laser forming Ni-Cr alloy components are obtained and a Ni-Cr alloy molar crown was made by using the LENS.5. The mechanical and biological property of HXJ-971 resin can meet with the dental expectations.6. The mechanical and biological property of Rene95 alloy laser formed components can meet the demand of oral material.
