| The article, using the thinking way of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) through systematic study and inquiry about causes, pathogenesis, therateupic principles and methods of premature-heart-beat in theory, clinic and experiment, aims at the effective medicine for the ill. The study suggests that the disease is due to phlegmatic heat leading to uneasiness of heart-spirit and uncontinuation of heart-pulse. So treatment of clearing heat and dissolving phlegm to tranquillize the mind is drawn up. Based on the theoretical literature, practical experience and previous work, that Traditional Chinese anti-malarial-Artemisia annua L. and Dichroae radix have the function of anti-premature-heart-beats is put forward. And the recipe QingShanJianXin, which is made into tablet according to medicine standard of technology and quality, is constituated. We use QingShanJianXinTablet to treat 160 cases of premature-heart-beat, which is divided into 2 groups-test group and control group (Snphora angustifolia) randomly and evenly. The result shows: in the aspect of total effect of premature-heart-beat, the the experimental group' sobvious effectual rate is 38.75%, total effectual rate is 76.25%, while the control group' s obvious effectual rate is 27.5%, total effectual rate is 61.25%, the difference shows remarkable significance (P<0.05). In the aspect of syndrome effect, the experimental group' s obvious effectual rate is 46.25%, total effectual rate is 87.5%, obviously better than the control group' s (P<0.05). Dynamic Cardiogram examination shows: the premature-heart-beat decreased remarkblely after treatment(P<0.001). At the same time, the medicine has no evident side-effect. Experiments shows: the recipe can protect the albino rat' s heart from rapid arrhythmia caused by aconite and barium chloride. It can also meliorate ischemia myocardial and decrease rapid arrhythmia of albino rat caused by posterior pituitary substance. The influence of QingShanJianXin for the action potential of guinea-pig' s heart muscle cells shows: it can decrease MAP, Vmax and APA underischemic/hypoxia states, can increase APD and ERP under normal or ischemic/ hypoxiastates. This proved the mechanism of QingShanJianXin curing arrhythmia in microscopic and local aspect. The conclusion of the study indicated that the disturbence of phlegmatic heart is the pathogenesis of rapid arrhythmia, clearing heart and dissolving phlegm are the main therapeutic principles, and QingShanJianXinTablet which if formed by Traditional Chinese antimalarial, is an effective medicine to treat premature-heart-beat.This study riched the theoretic content of premature-heart-beat' s TCM treatment and provided new effective and secure medicine for clinic.
