Objective: XianFangXiaoYingPian, Which was based on XianFangHuoMingYing and improved by professor Ou Yangheng, had the function of clearing away heat and toxic materials and activating blood circulation to dissipate blood stasis and was used to treat the psoriasis vulgaris. In order to find out the curing and operating mechanisms, we divided the 87 cases into test group and control group, comparing the clinical effect and examining the related items of the SOcases among them. We also conducted the animal experiment about the 70 mouse models of psoriasis.Methods: We analysed the content about endothelin-1 and calaitonin gene related peptide of the patient's plasma using radioimmunoassay, the change of hemorheology by viscosimeter. We calculated the mitotic basal cell in the mouse's vaginal epithelum and the granular cell in the flake of the mouse's tail through models by injecting diethylstilbestrol into the mouse's abdominal cavity and natural model of the flake of the mouse's tail.Results: XianFangXiaoYingPian could improve the major symptoms the cure rate and the whole effective rate, which was better than that of FuFangQingDaiWan (P0.05, P0.01). Reducing endothelin-1 and improving calaitonin gene related peptide in the test group was remarkable than that in the control group (P<0.01, P0.05). The function of reducing tall-cutting blood viscosity low-cutting blood viscosity plasm viscosity and plasm flbrinogen in the test group was better than that in the control group. (P0.01). The mitotic basal cell in the mouses vaginal epithelium in the test group was fewer than that in the control group, while the granular cell in the flake of the mouse's tail in the test group was more than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion: XianFangXiaoYingPian had the function of improving endothelin-1 , calatonin gene related peptide and hemorheology. It could restrain the epidermsis mitosis and accelerate produce of the granular cell of the mouse models. It had a remarkable clinical effect which was better than FuFangQingDaiWan.
