Atriplex L. is the representative plant in arid and semi-arid regions of the world, and it owns the quality of drought, leanness and salt tolerance, fast growing and good dainty. It is widely used in pasture imoroving and water&soil conservation. There paper is based on the materials of three inturduced Atriplex L. of Atriplex canescens ssp. aptera, Atriplex canescens ssp. canescens var. laciniata Parish and Atriplex canescens(Pursh)Nutt, after correlative indexes about drought stress, salt stress and drought&salt cross strss were resrarched and adaptability of two planting regions was observed, the paper make some mainly results as follows:1. The germination rate of three Atriplex L.seeds was very low, and after pretreatment of low temperature and priming by NaCl and PEG solution, the germination rate of three Atriplex L.seeds was not increasing significantly. Contacting to the higher vigor of three Atriplex L. seeds, we know that the germination rate still had a big room to improving.2. Drought stress, salt stress and drought&salt cross stress each includes two types, that is lasted stress and cumulative stress, the results showed that, the height and the proximal stem diameter of three Atriplex L. plants are all restrained, RWC, Chl, Pn of three Atriplex L. plants decreased and RCM, MDA contents in leaves were all increased under three kinds of stress above, the change of these indexes indicated the harm plants suffered under stress. Meanwhile, the contents of SS, SP, Pro and the liveness of SOD and POD were all increased in different degree was the results of plants combating the sress. Synthetic evalution by subfunction of three kinds of stress were same, that is A. canescens ssp. canescens var. laciniata Parish > A. canescen(sPursh)Nutt.> A. canescens ssp. aptera.3. The results of ion contents of Atriplex L. apparatuses under salt stress showed that the K+,Mg2+contents in roots and stems are all decreased according to the increasing of salt stress degree, contrarily, Na+ and Cl- contents were all increased; total ion contents of three Atriplex L. leaves were much higher than roots and stems which account to 53.78-61.9% of whole plant, the sequence of ion contents is leaves>roots>stems.4. Results of green cutting by 3 kinds of treatment, 3 cutting positions and 4 kinds of media showed that the rootage rate of three Atriplex L. was higher basically under 6-8cm cutting length, and was the lowest under 12cm; rootage rate of cutting treated by ABT andα-NAA were improved obviously, but the root length of three Atriplex L. was not improved significantly; cutting from middle of branch of three Atriplex L. was the highest, and cutting from top of branch was the lowest.5. The results of planting experiment at Hohhot and Linhe in Bayannaoer city of Inner Mongolia showed that the live rate through the winter of three Atriplex L. in two planting regions were all higher; phenophase in two planting regions was accordant, but it was earlier in Linhe than in Hohhot; three Atriplex L. plants had higher contents of crude protein and crude fat, meanwhile, crude fiber was much lower, therefor, three Atriplex L. plants above were all perfect forage shrub.
