The synergistic effects of weed control in the combinative application of herbicides and urea have been studied through biological determination using the target weeds as an indicator plant. The synergistic mechanism of combinative application of bensulfuron and urea might be found out with technique of radioisotope tracer. Microorganisms analysis were applied to know the affections of traditional herbicides to ammonifying bacteria and actinomycetes in paddy field. It was studied that the responses of herbicides to Sporosarcina ureae (Beijerinck) Kluyver et van Niel and Streptomyces albus which produce urease severely. According to the synergistic effects of weed control and the inhibited availability to ammonifying becteria and actinomycetes while herbicides were used with urea mixture, that has formulated a wettable powder of butachlor+londax and a granular of butachlor + londax + urea.1. Synergistic function of weed control in combinative application of herbicides and ureaThe control rate of Sagittaria pygmaea Miq. was better when compared the mixture application of sulfonylurea herbicide of londax plus urea with londax applied alone. An amide herbicide butachlor treated with its mixture of urea at the emergence of barnyardgrass (Echinochloa crus galli (L.) Beauv. Var. mitis (Pursh) Petern ) that control it greater than butachlor treated single. However, there were not any enhancement effects in weed control when the mixture was applied at the late after one heart stage of bamyardgrass, because of the low rate of butachlor failed to control grasses which resulted in barnyardgrass biomass increased significantly compared the combinative application of butachlor and urea with butachlor use alone. Another amide herbicide, dual had synergistic function too when it was used in its mixture of urea. Nitrofen is a diphenylether herbicides, treatment of nitrofen plus urea gave more excellent bamyardgrass control than nitrofen use single, however, it may be not advocated in making a granular of nitrofen plus urea for it's lower activity and more quantity rate, as well as harmful to personal health after touching on skin while...
