Wood color is not only a important characteristics of physics measure on wood surface, but also a key guide line to evaluate wood quality and determine the commercial value of wood products with the same importance as wood density, strength, and wood grain, it has significance to wood utilization.Wood color is also a key index of timber of high yielding, fast growing with short breeding cycle, its chroma values have direct relationship with wood surface quality, affact wood use value and utilization.Paulownia, populus tomentosa Carr. And Pinus sylvistris var. mongolica are the main species of plantation forest in Northeast China, they cover large area, have huge live stock volume of wood, provide large amount of industrial wood, which are widely used in furniture making, building materials etc.. The stain control of these three wood has direct relationship with the management of enterprises, it is a difficult problem to solve concerned with research and production departments.This paper has acertained the stain type of Paulownia wood according to the method invented by Ameriacan scholar Dr. Wilcox, made it clear that paulownia stain is induced by stain fungi, and seprated and purified two stain fungi, further more studied on stain concerning stain reason, mechanism, law of tendency with FTIR, ESCA and TC-PIIG apparatuses etc.. also acquired the control technology, efficient ways to eliminate stain, developed controlling stain theories, methods and technology for paulownia.This paper has acertained that the stain of Pinus sylvistris var. mongolica is caused by fungi, studied the law of stain tendancy under different conditions of moisture content, water, oxygen and PH value, developed effective theoratical ways and environmental chemical reagents for controlling larch stain. The achievements of this study provide the the theory and technical support for prevent larch stain.This paper has also developed two effective priscriptions of oxided and reduced types eliminating popar stain cause by bactiria, it has significant importance to decolor the stain of poplar wet wood.The creative points of this paper are as follows: first, ascertained paulownia stain is induced bystain fungi, separate two stain fungi from paulownia wood, made it clear the mechanism of Paulownia stain. Second, ascertained larch stain in Northeast China is induced by fungi. Third, Studied effective ways to eliminate stain of poplar wet wood. Fourth, developed effective and practical ways to control these three wood, formed the theory, methods and relative technology for controlling the stain of paulownia, larch and poplar in China plantation. The above mentioned creative achievements have theoritical and practical importance to the study and control in production for paulownia, poplar and larch wood.
