This thesis explores the sufficient utilization of data collection, geophysical exploration, drilling exploration and other methods to analyze transmission towers foundation stability of the gob area, using comprehensive geophysical prospecting method to effectively explore the large slab, researching and summarizing geological prospecting method of the extra-high voltage electric transmission poles and towers on the gob area. Using probability integration method to predict different types of mined-out area of ground subsidence deformation along the path of the trans-mission lines, the author analyzes the large area subsidence deformation of the main affecting factors. Using FLAC3D numerical simulation method to explore coal bed settlement distortion characteristic in the full conditions of mining and the different mining depth and mining thickness ratios in Shanxi Province, this paper can provide a preliminary reference for the mining area electric transmission poles and towers foundation design.In the analysis of the gob area subsidence deformation of the extra-high voltage electric transmission poles and towers, the thesis is taking full consideration of gob area transmission tower foundation and ground deformation together, and also the large slab foundation stress circumstances of the electric transmission poles and towers in the gob area, foundation deformation situation and large slab foundation type, etc. Carrying out the numerical simulation calculation to the different types of stress distortion situation of the large slab foundation, it is calculating the different thickness large slab foundation the influence which distorts to the poles and towers, therefore providing a basis for the extra-high voltage electric transmission poles and towers foundation's optimization design.According to gob area subsidence deformation expected conditions, this thesis proposes a gob area treatment method for the unstable transmission tower foundation, drafts a treatment plan, examines and analyzes gob area treatment effects. Results indicate that the treatment effects in general achieve the design requirements.
