| Travel behavior theory is one of the most important theories in the area of traffic management and control. Travel behavior research is a basic work for the urban traffic programming, construction, and also it is an important project in the range of urban sociology study. Thereinto, the travel of commuter is the basic behavior in individual life, their behavior may affect all sides of the urban life. Especially, nowadays the traffic congest problem at the travel peak has been stand out in city, which has been a key factor holding back economic development. According to resident travel behavior survey, and taking the commuter's travel behavior character as an study object, by utilizing some new analysis method, such as method based on trip-chain, method based on activity and so on, the travel rule and characteristics can be elicited, which has very important reference value for us to constitute and implement the travel demand manage policy, and to solve the traffic congest problem. About the commuter's travel behavior characteristics study, the paper has done some works as following:(1) By analysing the research situation about travel behavior deeply, the paper has summarized the advantages and disadvantages of the diversified analysis methods about the travel behavior, at meanwhile it also points out the problem existed in present study method. Then the customer behavior theory , Hagerstrand time-space restrictive theory, random utility theory are all introduced in this paper, and the paper brings forward that the travel behavior research should include three level study content: Behavior explain, behavior forecast and behavior control.(2) At present, traffic mode selection behavior research is more attractive in the field of travel behavior research. So the first problem explored in this paper is the independence test of classified variable, which is helpful for us to comprehend the relationship of every effect factor and selection behavior. And on the basis of discrete method, the paper has constructed a mode choice model of commuter, and the paper has discussed the statistic characteristics of the model from four aspects: Significance test of the variable, model unlikelihood ratio test, Likelihood Ration Index, hit ratio. Then the paper elaborates the meaning of regression coefficient. According to the study result of the model, the mode choice behavior of the commuter can be explained and forecasted, and the paper also has analyzed the model's applying to traffic policy evaluation.(3) Basing on the traditional definition about trip-chain, the paper has defined a start point and end point standard in the commuter's on-off duty trip-chain, and by utilizing the analysis method which based on trip-chain, the paper presents the discrepance about trip-chain type selection behavior as the commuter has different socity and economy background. Trip-chain selection model of the commuter on-off duty has been constituted in this paper by utilizing the discrete method. And the paper also has a quantitative analysis about the commuter's trip-chaining choice behavior affected by his socity and economy situation. The analysis work in this paper has done a meaningful step, it is very helpful for us to comprehend the characteristic of commuter's behavior.(4) According to the research about commuter's choice behavior of mode and trip-chain type, aiming to maximum the trip-chaining utility, and by utilizing Nested Logit model, a mode choice model based on trip-chain is constituted in this paper. And at meanwhile the paper has analyzed the impact relationship quantificationally between mode choice behavior and trip-chain type choice behavior of the commuter. The paper also has expatiated how to confirm the relationship between each lever in nested logit model, and how to identificate the relation between each choice lever by utilizing contain coefficient.(5) A survival analysis method is introduced in this paper for constructing the commuter departure time selection model, and for analyzing the different factors(such as economy background, travel characteristic, and so on) is how to affect the commuter's departure time selection behavior, then a continuous distribution model about commuter travel quantum and relevant time is given in the paper. By taking the travel mode and work time as the delamination control variable, it is feasible for us to analysis the diversity about the commuter departure time selection behavior. The research result has good reference benefit for us to constitute traffic manage policy, such as congestion pricing, different working hour and so on.(6) Because travel demand is a derive demand of activity, through utilizing the main component analysis method, the paper has done some improvement to the traditional structural equation. The paper has constructed an interrelationship model among economy background, travel mode and activity mode of the commuter and his family. The research based on this model is more effective for us to analyze the interrelationship among economy situation, activities and travel behavior.At last, the paper has discussed the aggregate technique of discrete method, and analyzed the compute method of cross elastic coefficient and direct elastic coefficient in discrete model, then studied the method used in practice. |
