The warship is larger size, so it will inevitably encounter attack and damage by all kinds of precision guide weapons from underwater and surface during the war. The loading ability of the damaged ship directly affects the vitality and battle effectiveness. The thesis mainly studies the solution of ship strength and the residual strength of damaged ship.The thesis plans to know if it is scientific that the thin-walled structure mechanics and ANSYS is used to study the longitudinal strength,torsional strength, residual strength and stability of ship. The results of study show that thin-walled structure mechanics is more well-rounded theory, the finite element is very applied method for engineering calculation. The finite element method is able to efficiently be used to calculate ship structure strength and ship stability as long as the model of thin-walled structure mechanics is established, the reasonable restrict condition is defined, the proper loading is selected. The physics model test also was done in order to check the reliability of numerical calculating.The thesis designs two new structure schemes about resisting damage structure of ship, and compare original ship with two schemes of ship about longitudinal strength,torsional strength and stability,weight of structure.The results show:â‘ The new resisting damage structures has less influence to ship weight and navigating performance, but more improve ship longitudinal strength in order to increase the vitality of ship. If a new ship adopts new design of resisting damage structure, it is able to use less steel so that the cost of building ship will be reduced.â‘¡The result of studying torsional strength of ship shows that the different resisting damage structure design has different role for torsional strength of ship structure. In engineering practice, optimized design of resisting damage structure is very important support to improve torsional strength of ship and increase the vitality of ship.â‘¢The new design of resisting damage structure is able to increase the residual longitudinal strength, prevent damage and rupture of ship hull, improve the safety of ship. The new design of resisting damage structure has better function on resisting torsional strength of damaged ship than undamaged one.â‘£The new design of resisting damage structure particularly improves deck stiffness. deck plank of ship could not lose stability even if the ship was broken.Finally, the thesis studies the theory about analysis and inverse analysis for residual strength of the damaged ship. Considering the practicality, the examples of different situation are showed according to ships with different loading. Not only the longitudinal strength of ship hull is calculated, but also the stability of structure of ship is. The effect is calculated under situations with both of a single warheads and more warhead for hitting the target.
