This paper discussed the development general situation of the domestic and international super high pressure vessel first, and then the calculative method of stress and the homologous strength theories about the single-layer ordinary round super-high pressure vessel, single-layer autofrettage thick wall round super-high pressure vessel and shrunk-on double-layers round super-high pressure vessels were elaborated systematically. Act as the using of the autofrettage technique, take a core spare parts high pressure cylinder in the number control all-powerful water incises of a factory as an example, the analysis and calculation was carried by making use of autofrettage technique. In this paper, shrink principle was also used to for designing and computing to the high pressure cylinder in order to prove the advantages autofrettage technique in designing of super-high pressure vessels. And the compute result gained by autofrettage technique was compared to the compute result gained from the shrink principle and original design project. It was shown from the results that the using of autofrettage technique in designing super high pressure vessel was more superiority than the shrunk principle. The author still designed a set of experiment method exclusively for autofrettage experiment study to super-high pressure thick wall cylinder. The main innovations and contributions in the paper are as below:1) The third and forth strengthen theories were analyzed and compared particularly. The reason that according extent of every theory was closed the fact to a extent was analyzed and discussed on theory integrally. The strengthen theories fitted to super-high pressure vessels was perfected further. The theoretical proof was provided for advancing and improvement of strengthen theories to super-high pressure vessels.2) A new method was put for primary designing super-high pressure vessels and targets of evaluating the method were also put. These targets are original creation. This primary designing method is not only save manpower and time but also improve efficient.3) It proved that autofrettage technique is better than shrunk principle by analyze stress.4) A set of experimental method on autofrettage technique was put. The method has purpose mentioned in the paper besides some other purpose as following:â‘ The stress, strain and displacement can be measured to thick wall cylinder.
