Study On Deformation And Contact Pressure Of Frame Structure With Thick Raft Foundation Under Circular Tall Building

Based on model test, this paper deals with the interaction of soil and thick raft foundation with frame structure under vertical loads of circular tall building. Both the deformation and contact pressure of raft foundation have been measured. By the model test , the characteristic of deformation, contact pressure , failure of thick raft foundation and frame structure have been described. In addition , a FEM software has been made, and it has been used to simulate the model test . At the end of this paper , the influence to deformation, contact pressure of thick raft foundation with frame structure caused by basement storeys, floor thickness has been given .
