The hydro-project on Sandy River (such as Yellow River) is responsible for some missions such as flood and ice prevention, power generation, irrigation, and also water supply. Considering the special instance of reservoir's sediment on Sandy River, it is anxious to find an effectively optimization operation method for reservoir and hydropower station on Sandy River. In order to improve general benefit of hydro-project, this method must be multi-object operation and be based on the new technical. This paper takes the Samenxia reservoir on Yellow River as example to calculate the deposition of whole and local part of reservoir with mechanics model and NN after the analysis of historical data. And also, paper respectively establishes long-term and short-term optimization operation mathematical model for single and step reservoir according to the reservoir's actual status after analysis of historical data. Based on the database knowledge, the integrative management system is established by integrate different mathematical mode. This paper's concrete work can be summarized into following five parts.1. Calculation for sedimentation and its part of Sanmenxia hydro-project. The real-time deposition of many sections is carried out by non-equilibrium and the nonuniform density mathematics model which utilizes the observed data. Meantime, this paper filters the different influence factors of sediments under different circumstances, and then gives fast forecast model for reservoir's sedimentation and Tongguan elevation by neural net.2. Paper carries out a real-time optimization operation model. Considering the actual status of Sanmenxia and different restraint condition, paper gives real-time optimization dispatch model for Sanmenxia reservoir, which is derived from the theory of dynamic programming and visual program technique. The model binds abstractive dynamic programming and Windows program technique together, which makes operation easy, and also it brings out a new approach to optimization operation and management of huge hydro-project.3. This paper research the multi-object optimization dispatch on flood season of reservoir by non-linear optimization theory-Genetic Algorithms(GA). Through the combination of GA and NN, paper carried out flood season optimization dispatch model with sediment be regarded as a main object. Also, this paper researches the operation manner of cascade reservoir such as Longyangxia and Lijiaxia with GA.4. Paper establish GA model for short-term dispatch in view of the competitive bidding on net. Giving different period different weight coefficient and restricting the amount of water volume in one day, an optimization operation model is derived, which can solve the problem of short-term optimization operation for hydropower station under diverse pricing systems.5. Taking one thing with another above, paper establishes an optimization dispatch and integrative management for Sanmenxia hydro-project based on the data of history and real-time, which can realize digital management at last.
