Study On The New Automobile Structure Multimedia Courseware Development Method

The tradition teaching method of the new automobile structure lesson is the combination of class lecturing and experiment teaching (real object teaching). Some parts in the new automobile structure are not easily dismantled or not dismantled at all. So it brings a big difficulty to study these new structures, to master of their working principle and thus to repair properly. In the procedure of studying and mastering these contents, students only work through abstract imagination of the flat surface of principle figure, this makes students very difficult to thoroughly understand their working principle and system structure.The development of computer and multimedia technology provide good conditions for the optimization of teaching and training for the new automobile structure. Making using of computer and multimedia technology to establish multimedia software mainly composed of 3D animation is an effective method to solve the difficult problem of teaching and training for the new automobile structure.This paper is made under the guidance of the cognitive learning theory and the viewpoint of constructivism. It finishes the development and research work of multimedia studying system of the automatic transmission, the petrol jetting and the electronic igniting in the multimedia software of the new automobile structure.In the procedure of development of the new automobile structure multimedia software, we summarize an effective creation method which includes the making of varies media source materials. It makes the movement trace, movement characteristic and reciprocal relationship in the mechanical devices of the new automobile structure appearing according to the speed and visual angle demanded by script designing. Some movement phenomena which are difficult to be understood and observed, especially high speed and microcosmic movement arepresented repeatedly to learners.After the multimedia source materials are accomplished, Authorware is used to program these materials together, and interacting relationship controlled by user are put into these materials, super links are used to design these interacting files. The design of study catalogues and patterns realize the editing showing of the interrelated chapters and sections. In the key study menu, we choose interacting fashion through hot section, deepening user's studying impression, and resolving the problem of designing more than two level menus in the sequence study fashion.The paper resolves the problems how the packed programs are wholly separated from Authorware and run normally, these problems include borrowing exterior AVI files, rightly using varies patterns of image, producing transitional effect of special screen, the conflict between some FLC files and displaying effect using technical means. It resolves the problem of compressing sound materials, choosing optimal color-plate processing and composing ways, and it resolves flicker in animation playing.In the Multimedia study system of Electronic Ignition, we develop "Testing Exercises system of Electronic Ignition", effectually resolve the linking problems between "Multimedia study system of Electronic Ignition" edited by Authorware and "Testing Exercises system of Electronic Ignition" developed by Delphi program language.Aiming at excessive memory of image files in the animation making procedure, we compress the images files through Wavelet Transform. We decompose an image through the Wavelet Transform functions made by us, the original image can be better restored, and the experiment of single image shows the compressing rate is 50:1. The compressing efficiency is further improved.
