Along with growing aggravation of global energy crisis, continual disruption of ecological balance and frequent occurrence of natural disasters such as earthquakes, a new type of building structural system that new structure is possessed with features of energy-saving and land-efficiency and high performance of seismic resistance, which is based on the principle of energy-saving and reflection of ideas of green construction, environment friendly and sustainable development, is required urgently among the society. In order to carry out national policies of energy-saving on building, made a breakthrough in the choke point of heating charge in separate household in residential building, highly improve energy consumption effect and residential and working comforts and achieve the purpose of reducing building energy consumption, it is significant for research on integrated thermal insulation buildings made of Glazed Hollow Beads-'city cave dwelling'.Research on integrated thermal insulation buildings made of Glazed Hollow Beads is based on requests of development of green construction. In the course of research, theory of thermal retardation and heat insulation of traditional cave dwelling is used for reference and is applied in buildings of modern city through development of new energy-saving insulation material, which aims at building a new type of green patent construction with fabulous performance on energy consumption and making a summary that'Behavior is worth a cave, shape is better than it.'For above reasons, the paper carries out experiments and researches on high efficiency and energy-saving building materials of Glazed Hollow Beads, design, construction, humidity and temperature tests, theory calculation and simulation, simulation of anti-seismic performance and analysis of technical and economic of integrated thermal insulation building. Main works and research findings of this paper are as follows:1. Through surveys and researches, the conception of'city cave dwelling'that is based on inheriting the connotation of traditional cave dwelling is advanced in the paper and gains National Invention Patent-indoor insulation construction method that is applied in'city cave dwelling'. (ZL200710185259.8)2. Experimental study on Glazed Hollow Beads of insulation mortar with Gypsum is carried on in the paper. Due to utilization of industrial wastes such as Gypsum etc. and foaming techniques and phase transition techniques are introduced into the experimental, thermal conductivity of Glazed Hollow Beads of insulation mortar is reduced to 0.055 W/(m-K), meanwhile compressive strength of test specimen of Glazed Hollow Beads of insulation mortar are greater than 0.3MPa;3. Experimental study on Glazed Hollow Beads of insulation concrete is carried on in the paper. Insulation concrete that thermal conductivity is lower than 0.2 W/(m-K) and compressive strength grade is greater than C40 and could meet requests of insulation and bearing performance is produced in the experiment.4. According to theory of thermal retardation and heat insulation, which refers to hermetic ability, Micro-environmental control and phase-change energy storage, Glazed Hollow Beads of insulation mortar and Glazed Hollow Beads of insulation concrete are applied in designs of inner-style of integrated thermal insulation system and cast-in-situ integrated thermal insulation system.5. Energy-saving effect of integrated thermal insulation building is impressive. Through actual testing, calculation and comparative analysis of typical single room which is selected in pilot projects of Glazed Hollow Beads of integrated thermal insulation and Glazed Hollow Beads buildings adopted thermal insulation of outer wall, the paper presents a conclusion that energy consumption rate of integrated thermal insulation room is 71.9%6. By the application of theory modal analyzed with DEST-H software, which chose typical building in Taiyuan city as researching object, the paper got results that energy consumption rate of integrated thermal insulation building adopted heating charge in separate household is near to 75.8% and energy consumption rate of integrated thermal insulation building adopted heating charge in separate room is 78%, and the rate exceed national standard-50% and 65% and provide a feasible program for national policies of heating charge in separate household and national further standard of 75%.7. Taking a 21-story shear wall residential building as an example and employing spectrum method of ANSYS software for analyzing, the paper compared dynamic characteristics of anti-seismic between Glazed Hollow Beads of integrated thermal insulation building and common shear wall concrete structure, and found that Glazed Hollow Beads of integrated thermal insulation building behaviors better than common shear wall concrete structure in anti-earthquake performance.8. Through technical and economic comparison between Glazed Hollow Beads of integrated thermal insulation system and general concrete structure adopted thermal insulation of outer wall, the paper reaches a conclusion that thermal insulation behavior, seismic, durability, comfort, environment friendly and fireproofing performance of buildings are advanced greatly with Glazed Hollow Beads of integrated thermal insulation system,meanwhile construction cost is reduced distinctly.9. For the sake of popularization and application of Glazed Hollow Beads of integrated thermal insulation system and based on application of pilot projects, local standard of Shanxi province-'technical code of Glazed Hollow Beads of integrated thermal insulation building'(DBJ04-274-2008) is established. The project belongs to State Natural Sciences Foundation financing project (50778118) and national torch plan project (2007GH05009)10. Identification of Glazed Hollow Beads of integrated thermal insulation construction project, which was from experts organized by Shanxi Province Science and Technology Agency Organization, was determined on May28,2001(Identification Certificate No.:101114), and identification results of project has reached the international advanced level.The project is funded by Taiyuan SKD Development Limited (Project No.:2006SKD0001), National Natural Science Fund (Project No.:50778118) and National Torch Plan (Project No.: 2007GH05009).
