Space high energy electron can destroy inner and surface instruments of satellite by surface and inner charge to crust material. So it is necessary to do our best to take measures to prevent the spaceship from the charge or discharge effect resulting in the damage to crust material. However, it is difficult to measure the low beam intensity of electron in outer space, so far. Therefore, new metheds or novel equipments are required for this purpose.Based on theoretical estimation, this report provides an experimental method in Lab to measure the beam intensity of electron on line. First, special F-cup combined with current integeter has been set up for strong current beam measurement. In order to measure low current ion beam, a ring shape position-sensitive detector has also been built. Secondly, the scattering film is prepared and the thickness is determined by RBS. And then, these have been tested using H+beam online successfully. Thus we can conclude that this scattering method is feasible. It is a good milestone for further studies using electron beam in the near future. |
