Based on the similarity equation,2D hydrodynamic model was developed for studying the hydrodynamic characteristics of slab X-ray laser plasma. Under nonuniform line focused irradiance the plasma produced has a nonuniform parameter distribution along the line focus (z direction), which results in hydrodynamic motion. It is found that the inhomogeneity in temperature distribution along z direction due to the non-uniformity of foci line can be relaxed by hydrodynamic behaviour and usually this process takes more than Ins to get uniform, while density distribution takes several hundred picoseconds. Hydrodynamic oscillation of plasma in z direction as a result of inhomogeneity was obtained. The parameters of the nonuniform focus line such as average intensity, pulse duration, nonuniform extent and etc. were proved to have strong influence on the evolution of plasma. Furthermore we modified Ne-like Cr X-ray laser parameters and analyzed the Ni-like Mo X-ray laser on XL III laser facility in our Laboratory.
