On the basis of former's research results,using years monitoring data and GIS'smanagement and analysis of spatial data.This paper studied losses—xi'angeo-fracture hazards to lives,properties,economic activities and etc in a certainregion and time,carried out risk management and assessment of xi'an geo-fracture,developed corresponding software system,identified the main content of dangerevaluation ofxi'an geo-fracture hazards as follows,danger evaluation,vulnerabilityassessment and risk assessment;analysed geological background,genetic mechanism,induced factors and hazard destructions characteristics,certified evaluation indexsystem,set up danger evaluation model,vulnerability assessment and risk assessmentmodel of xi'an geo-fracture respectively,based on secondary development ofMAPGIS,this paper established risk management system of xi'an geo-fracturehazards,which combined GIS and mathematics model(fuzzy comprehensiveevaluation model,information space prediction model,the weighted index model),exploited its merits,improved the efficiency and accuracy of evaluation;carried outdanger evaluation,vulnerability assessment and risk assessment by use of riskmanagement system.Based on the results of the evaluation,the paper carried outdivision level mapping respectively,finally evaluated losses cause by xi'angeo-fracture and put forward prevention and treatment of xi'an geo-fracture,framework system of risk management and prevention and treatment of xi'angeo-fracture.According to the specific project,this paper put forward the scientific andpractical measures for hazard prevention and treatment including safe distance of newbuildings and engineering measures.Moreover,this paper put forward preventionmeasures and reasonable planning proposal for xi'an subway under construction andlifeline works of other cities in order to make use of land resources caused bygeo-fracture hazard,put forward reasonable practical hazard earlying-warningmonitoring program.
