The Tibetan Plateau is a highlighted theme of modern earth science research, which involves geological, seismological, geomorphologic and geodynamical aspects. As a great system of internal and external earth forces, it is important to do analytical researches in the Tibetan Plateau from different subjects, different areas and different scales. This thesis focuses on the northeast boundary belt of the Sichuan-Yunnan Block which is a typical area in the eastern margin of the Tibetan Plateau. Based on the quantitative geomorphologic method, kinematical characteristics and parameters of the faults in the belt were quantitatively analyzed.
