The fetal liver is a developing tissue and can secrete a lot of cytokines related to cell growth regulation, for instance the "hepatic stimulate substances" extracted from the fetal liver. The gene of the "substances" even now is not identified since it is a mixture and the traditional way from protein to gene can not be taken effects. So, some practical principles of direct cloning of new genes have been suggested. One of them is the identification of new genes by use of differential expression of gene in cell and becoming a well-concerned research subject. By this idea, a great deal of new genes may be identified, but the more important is that it is helpful of the theoretical interpretations of the development of some diseases, such as the differences of gene expressed in normal and tumor cell even in the variant stages of tumor cell growth can help us to understand some background knowledges of tumor development and growth.A great of new techniques of screening new genes by use of cell differential gene expression have been developed in recent years,...
