Ordos Basin is a large sediment basin in which include multi-energy source mineral deposits (oil/gas pool, coal bed, uranium deposits, etc). There are a lot of data in geology study and mineral exploration. It is necessary to use these data to obtain weak signal of linear structures and circular structures information and/or multi-energy source mineral deposits, the linear structures and circular structures character of differential sediment strata is researched to give reference for the enrichment location of multi-energy source mineral deposits and co-exploration in Ordos Basin.Weak signal of multi-information for recognizing linear structures and circular structures of differential sediment strata and/or prospecting multi-energy source mineral deposits is enhanced to extract the faulted structure: and circular structures and/or mineral resources signature of Bouguer gravity, aerial magnetic, aerial gamma spectrometer and remote sensing. Processing methods are used to extract geophysics gradient of gravity, aerial-magnetic by curved surface upward continuation, space filtering, horizontal gradient, changing belt of geochemistry by information correlativity and uranium element differential variance ratio of aerial-energy spectrum, and linear image and circular image of remote sensing by direction filtering. In order to recognize linear structures and circular structures automatically, fault zone narrowing technology is applied includes median filtering, smooth, thinning, sharpening, and edge detection etc. at the same time, ore finding information relating to multi-energy source mineral deposits is enhanced by derivative conversion and residual anomaly of gravity and aerial-magnetic, multi-element combination parameter of aerial-energy spectrum, ratio enhancement and K-L analysis of remote sensing, and new digital image technique is displayed researching result. Aim at the subject, Visual C++6.0 and Visual Basic 6.0 are adopted to design a gravity and magnetic interpreting system.More than 116 main faulted structures with difference geological characteristics are recognized in differential sediment strata (time series) including Archaeozoic -Middle/Lower Proterozoic (crystalline basement), Upper Proterozoic-Lower Palaeozoic, Upper Palaeozoic, Mesozoic (Triassic, Jurassic Cretaceous), ground surface in intrabasin of Ordos Basin, crystalline basement structures are early SN, second EW, third NW or NE in time. The orientation of faulted structures changes from EW and NW, EW, "X" conjugate of NW and NE, to NNW or NNE in correspondence with differential sediment strata (time series). The density of shallow faulted structures is more than the deep, the shallow faulted structures are short distance and worse continuous, the deep faulted structures are long distance and better continuous, the north density is more than the south in development. Most faulted structures of differential time series are the inherited structure of crystalline basement in space.It is different in the character of 6 main circular structures that firstly, in space, the inner,middle and outside bigger circular structures are deeper than that in the south, north and east small circular structure, the bigger circulars reflect the crystalline basement and Upper Proterozoic-Lower Palaeozoic, the small circular reflect sedimentary cover of Upper Palaeozoic, Mesozoic (Triassic, Jurassic. Cretaceous) and Cenozoic in Ordos Basin. Secondly, in property, circular structures are caused by the basin tectonic movement (block revolving) or basin latter reformation. Thirdly, in movement, the big circular structures revolved clockwise at the early time, and at the latter time, the north circular revolved clockwise continuously, meanwhile the south circular revolved contra-clockwise. The secondary tectonic unit location of these circular structures is regulated by revolving.Faulted and circular structures play the important role in the spatial distribution of multi-energy source mineral deposits. Faulted structures are good for oil and gas in migrating and mineralizing, bad in losing. The developing areas of faulted structures in differential sediment strata (time series) generating crack and joint are fine for accumulating oil for Yanchang unit of Triassic system and/or Yan'an unit of Jurassic system. They are nice pass in reducing agent and/or escape structure of underwater for Dongsheng sandstone type uranium deposits. These faulted structures indirectly affect the location of oil and gas pool by directly controlling sedimentary fades and sand body. The north circular structure is favorable for gas exploration, the south for oil. The inner circular structure for exploration coal, the border of inner circular structure for exploration of uranium;middle circular structure for exploration of coal and uranium because coal-bearing formation and uranium-riching formation outcrop in this area.
