Based on the demands of the development of modem metallotectonics, the thoughts and methods of tectonic system and structural analysis, etc., the author has present the new concept of metallotectonic series which is defined as a set of metallotectonicses interrelated together under the same tectonic regine or some particular geologic events in a certain spacetime domain. According to the definition above, metallotectonic series may be divided into ten main types (familes), which are compressional metallotectonic series, extensional metallotectonic series, strike-slip metallotectonic series, magmatic metallotectonic series, sedimentational metallotectonic series, karstic metallotectonic series, hydrofractunng metallotectonic series, normal-strike slip metallotectonic series and compressional-strike slip metallotectonic series respectively. Each type can be divided into sub-series or son-series with the difference of study level.Setting up the texture of metallotectonic series is a very important process for the metallotectonic prognesis. In order to faciliate indentifying metallotectonicses formed mainly by fluid dynamics, the contents of the fluid dynamic breccia, including explosive breccia series, rheonorphic breccia series and hydrofracturing breccia series, are brought forward and their classification and identification are discussed in this paper. In order to make the classification of the metaflotectonicses controlled by both teotonic dynamics and fluid dynamics, this paper discusses how rheid inhomogeneity controlls hydrofracturing, and presents an kind of new mechanism for the formation of vein-type metallotectonics and hydrofracturing breccia-type metallotectonic by deformation partitioning, hydrofractunng and rupture-healing. Through the application of the theories and models mentioned above, some good effects have been attained on the study of the metallotectonicses in some criss mines as follows.i)The metallotectonicses of Xitieshan Pb-Zn deposit in Qinghai Province have been demonstrated to belong to extensional metallotectonic series in ductile domain, and the Pb-Zn ore veins are controlled by the marble tectonic lens in the folding layers of metamorphic core complexes formed in Caledonian.ii)The metallotectonicses of Woxi Au-Sb-W deposit in western Hunan Province have been discovered to belong to extensional metallotectonic series in brittle-ductile domain, andthe bedded Au-Sb-W ore-veins are controlled by a bedded brittle-ductile shear zone with lowangle and down-slip.iii)The metallotectonicses of Shuangwang gold deposit in Shanxi Province have been suggested to belong to hydrofracturing metallotectonic series, and the formation of the goldbearing hydrofracturing breccia bodies are caused by hydrofractunng of the deep-seated fluids with gold-bearing and rich-alkali in the rich sodium rocks of Devonian formed in hot-water sedimentation.iv)The metallotectonicses, which controll quartz-vein type and alteration-rock type in Linglong-Jiaojia gold field, have been recongnized to belong to left-lateral strike梞orrnal slip metallotectonic series and normal ?left-lateral strike slip metallotectonic series respectively, and their en echelon type, dip and dip-angle, pitch and pitch-angle are confined by the condiction of dynamics under the different tectonic regime.v)The metallotectonicses of Jiangyong Ag-Pb-Zn deposit in Hunan Province have been identified to belong to karstic metallotectonic series and magmatic metallotectonic series respectively.vi)The metallotectonicses of Xinhua gold deposit in Hunan Province have been found to belong to strike-slip metallotectonic series and extensional metallotectonic series respectively. The above progresses obtained through the application of the theory of metallotectonic series have been supported partly by the results of production exploration and geophysical prospection.
