Purpose: In this paper,we investigate the effects of acupuncture and lactulose combined with the theory of "One Qi Circulation" compared with lactulose alone on the main symptoms and signs of patients with Qi deficiency constipation, and initially explore their clinical efficacy. This study will provide a new approach and basis for clinical research and treatment.Material and method:Sixty-six patients with post-stroke constipation from January2022 to January 2023 in the K1 unit of the rehabilitation center of our hospital were randomly selected as the study subjects, and the patients were explained well and their support was obtained.Patients were numbered according to the order of admission and randomly divided into control and treatment groups using the random number table method in the ratio of 1:1,with 33 cases in each group. In both groups,on the basis of conventional medical treatment, the control group was given lactulose treatment and the treatment group was given acupuncture combined with lactulose treatment guided by the theory of "Yi Qi Circulation" for a period of 7 days and 2 weeks.2 weeks later, the efficacy of both groups was recorded and statistical analysis was performed to compare the clinical efficacy of the two groups. In this study,we first compared the general data(type of stroke, age, duration of disease, and gender)of the two groups and analyzed whether the differences were statistically significant. In this study, the clinical efficacy of constipation after qi-deficiency stroke was evaluated mainly by using the Clinical Symptom Score Scale(CCS)for constipation, the Patient Quality of Life Scale(PAC-QOL)for constipation, the Activity of Daily Living(MBI),and the Qi Deficiency Chinese Medicine Evidence Scale. All results were compiled and analyzed using Graphpad Prism 9.4.1 software.Results:1.The age, gender, diagnosis and duration of disease before treatment were comparable between the two groups(P>0.05).2.The results of the Clinical Constipation Symptom Score(CCS)showed that after treatment, the CCS score of the treatment group was significantly reduced, and the difference was statistically significant compared with that of the control group(P<0.05).3.The results of PAC-QOL scale for patients with constipation showed that the scores of the treated group decreased significantly after treatment, and the difference was statistically significant when compared with the control group(P<0.05).4.The results of the MBI showed that the MBI scores increased in both groups after treatment, but the increase in the control group was not significant and not statistically significant;the increase in the treatment group was significant and statistically significant(P<0.05).5.By the evaluation table of Chinese medicine evidence points of Qi deficiency, the results showed that the score of the treatment group was significantly lower after treatment, and the difference was statistically significant compared with the control group(P< 0.05).6.The differences were statistically significant(P<0.05)when comparing the effective rate and healing rate of both groups. The effective rate and healing rate of the treatment group were better than those of the control group.Conclusion:1.Acupuncture combined with lactulose guided by the theory of "One Qi Circulation" and lactulose alone can improve the clinical symptoms of post-stroke constipation, and the efficacy of acupuncture combined with lactulose guided by the theory of "One Qi Circulation" is better than that of lactulose in improving the symptoms of post-stroke constipation.2.The efficacy of acupuncture combined with lactulose guided by the theory of "Yi Qi Circulation" was significant and better than that of lactulose alone in improving the quality of survival, the ability to perform activities of daily living, and the symptoms of Qi deficiency in patients with post-stroke constipation. In conclusion, the combination of lactulose with acupuncture guided by the "Yi Qi Circumstance" system is a safe and effective treatment for post-stroke constipation with Qi deficiency, which can be further studied and promoted in clinical practice.
