Observation On The Efficacy Of Modified Tongguan Decoction Combined With Mesalazine In The Treatment Of Ulcerative Colitis (cold-heat Mixed Syndrome

Purpose : To observe the clinical effect of modified Tongguan decoction combined with mesalazine in the treatment of ulcerative colitis(mixed cold and heat syndrome).To explore the diagnosis and treatment of ulcerative colitis with external treatment of traditional Chinese medicine and enrich clinical application,Objective,scientific and rigorous methods were used to evaluate the clinical value and provide a reliable diagnosis and treatment plan for the follow-up treatment of ulcerative colitis.Material and method:Select 60 patients who came to the Third Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from December 2021 to December 2022,and underwent electronic colonoscopy in our hospital,who were clinically diagnosed as ulcerative colitis and met the diagnostic criteria of mixed cold and heat syndrome.The patients were divided into observation group and control group,with 30 cases each.The control group was given mesalazine enteric-coated tablets for oral use,and the observation group was given Jiawei Tongguan decoction enema combined with mesalazine for oral use.The duration of treatment in the two groups was the same.Record the score of TCM symptoms,total score of TCM symptoms,endoscopic intestinal mucosa score,disease activity score and TCM syndrome efficacy score of the two groups before and after treatment,and compare and analyze the above results.Results:1.After treatment,the scores of various TCM symptoms,total TCM symptoms,intestinal mucosal score,disease activity score,and TCM syndrome efficacy score of the two groups of patients were lower than those before treatment(P<0.05).2.After treatment,the scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Modified Tongguan Decoction combined with mesalazine in the treatment of ulcerative colitis(mixed cold and heat syndrome)can alleviate the clinical symptoms of patients,alleviate the inflammatory reaction of the intestine,and promote the healing of the intestinal mucosa.It has obvious therapeutic advantages and is worthy of further application and promotion.
