Objective:To compile the"Questionnaire on the Influencing Factors of Residents’Medicinal Food Therapy Behavior"and use it to investigate the current situation of residents’medicinal food therapy behavior and analyze its influencing factors, and to propose targeted suggestions and countermeasures to improve the level of residents’medicinal food therapy behavior.Methods:(1)Construction of the Questionnaire on the Influencing Factors of the Food Therapy Behavior of Residents:(1)Preparation of the questionnaire:The questionnaire was initially developed through extensive review of domestic and foreign literature and relevant policies and regulations, and was deleted, added and modified through two rounds of expert consultation to form the Questionnaire on the Influencing Factors of the Food Therapy Behavior of Residents.(2)Pre-survey and reliability analysis:130 residents were selected for the pre-survey,and the questionnaire entries were further screened and modified according to the pre-survey feedback and item analysis, and then the reliability test was conducted to form the final version of the Questionnaire on Factors Affecting the Behavior of Residents in Medicinal Food Therapy.(2)Analysis of the current situation and influencing factors of residents’medicinal food therapy behavior:545 residents in Hunan Province were selected by using a multi-stage stratified sampling method and surveyed using the Questionnaire on Influencing Factors of Residents’Medicinal Food Therapy Behavior. The survey database was established using Excel 2019software,and IBM SPSS Statistics 25.0 was used for statistical analysis. The general information of the residents was analyzed descriptively using frequency and composition ratios, and the scores of each dimension of the questionnaire were described using percentages and means±standard deviations.Multiple linear regression was used to analyze the main influencing factors of residents’medicinal dietary therapy behavior.Results:(1)Development and validity of the Questionnaire on Influencing Factors of Residents’Pharmacological Food Therapy Behavior:After two rounds of expert consultation, the Questionnaire on Influencing Factors of Residents’Pharmacological Food Therapy Behavior contains five dimensions and 45 items.Among them, the knowledge dimension contains 14entries,the belief dimension contains 11 entries, the subjective norm dimension contains 5entries,the perceptual behavior control dimension contains 5 entries, and the behavior dimension contains 10 entries. The results of item analysis showed that all entries were retained at P(27)0.05and t>3.The Cronbach’alpha coefficient for the total questionnaire was 0.950,and the Cronbach’alpha coefficients for each dimension ranged from 0.778 to 0.942,with a fold-half reliability of 0.838 for the total questionnaire.2 common factors were extracted for the knowledge dimension,3 common factors for the beliefs dimension, and 1 common factor for the subjective norms, perceptual behavioral control, and behavioral dimensions by exploratory factor analysis, and the cumulative variance The contribution rates were 55.684%,49.689%,65.129%,48.308%,and 48.628%,respectively.(2)The score of residents’medicinal dietary therapy behavior was 22.80±8.976,with a score ratio of 45.60%.Knowledge of medicinal food therapy, beliefs, subjective norms, and perceptual behavior control were the main influencing factors of medicinal food therapy behavior with R~2=0.454 and adjusted R~2=0.437.Conclusions:(1)The Questionnaire on the Influencing Factors of Residents’Medicinal Food Therapy Behavior developed in this study has good reliability and high application value, and can be used as a measurement and assessment tool for residents’medicinal food therapy behavior and influencing factors,so that appropriate measures can be taken to promote medicinal food therapy behavior and improve health.(2)Residents’medicinal food therapy behaviors are at a low level and need to be further improved.Knowledge, beliefs, subjective norms, and perceptual behavioral control are important influencing factors.
