Objective Study On Tongue Images Of People With Different Constitution

Objective: By analyzing the changes of tongue image characteristic parameters of people with different constitutions,the differences between tongue image characteristic parameters of people with biased constitutions and people with moderate constitutions were compared,so as to reveal the correlation between the changes of objective parameters of physique and tongue image and the specific changes of tongue image characteristic parameters of different constitutions,in order to provide objective reference basis for the determination of tongue image of people with different constitutions.Methods: Tongue images of 889 students enrolled in Hunan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in September 2021 were collected by TFDA-1 tongue and facial diagnosis instrument developed by Shanghai Traditional Chinese Medicine Assets Management Limited Company.Judging and classifying physique by referring to the TCM Physique Classification and Judgment Table filled in;The images were sorted out and the corresponding characteristic parameters were analyzed by TDAS2.0 by the Intelligent Processing Laboratory of TCM Diagnostic Information of Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.Finally,statistical software SPSS26.0was used to make a statistical analysis of people with different constitutions to compare the difference of characteristic parameters of tongue quality and tongue coating between people with biased constitutions and people with moderate constitutions,the difference of characteristic parameters of tongue quality and tongue coating between people with different constitutions,and the correlation between constitution and characteristic parameters of tongue quality and tongue coating.Results: The characteristic parameters of Ping-He Constitution person were taken as the benchmark,(1)Qi-Xu Constitution person tongue color parameters La-zhi and Cr-zhi were decreased(P<0.01),tongue texture parameters ASM-zhi were increased(P<0.05),ENT-zhi and MEAN-zhi were decreased(P<0.01);(2)Qi-Yu Constitution person tongue color parameters Cbzhi were increased(P<0.01),while S-zhi,La-zhi,Lb-zhi and Cr-zhi were decreased(P<0.05,P<0.01).Tongue coating color parameters Cb-tai were increased(P<0.01),while S-tai,La-tai,Lbtai and Cr-tai were decreased(P<0.01,P<0.05).Tongue texture parameters Con-zhi,ENT-zhi and MEAN-zhi increased(P<0.01),while ASM-zhi decreased(P<0.01,P<0.05).Tongue coating texture parameters Con-tai,ENT-tai and MEAN-tai increased(P<0.01),while ASM-tai decreased(P<0.01,P<0.05),Tongue thickness index per All increased(P<0.01);(3)Shi-Re Constitution person Tongue color parameters H-zhi were increased(P<0.01),while S-zhi,La-zhi,Cr-zhi and Cb-zhi were decreased(P<0.05,P<0.01).Tongue coating color parameters H-tai,L-tai and Lb-tai were increased(P<0.01),while S-tai,La-tai,Cr-tai and Cb-tai were decreased(P<0.01).Tongue thickness index per All increased(P<0.01);(4)Tan-Shi Constitution person tongue color parameters R-zhi,G-zhi,B-zhi,I-zhi,L-zhi,Y-zhi,Cb-zhi increased(P<0.01),S-zhi,La-zhi,Lbzhi,Cr-zhi decreased(P<0.01),tongue coating color parameters R-tai,G-tai,B-tai,I-tai,Y-tai,Cbtai increased(P<0.01).H-tai,S-tai,La-tai,LB-tai and Cr-tai were decreased(P<0.01),tongue texture parameter ASM-zhi was increased(P<0.01),ENT-zhi was decreased(P<0.01),tongue thickness per All and per Part were increased(P<0.05,P<0.01);(5)Te-Bing Constitution person tongue texture parameters Con-zhi,ENT-zhi and MEAN-zhi were increased(P<0.01),tongue coating texture parameters Con-tai,ENT-tai and MEAN-tai were increased(P<0.01);(6)Yang-Xu Constitution person Tongue color parameters G-zhi,B-zhi,I-zhi,L-zhi and Y-zhi were increased(P<0.01),while S-zhi La-zhi and Cr-zhi were decreased(P<0.01),tongue coating color parameters G-tai,L-tai and Y-tai were increased(P<0.05),and S-tai,La-tai and Cr-tai were decreased(P<0.01).Tongue texture parameters ASM-zhi increased(P<0.01),Con-zhi,ENT-zhi and MEANzhi decreased(P<0.01),tongue coating texture parameters ASM-tai increased(P<0.01),Con-tai,ENT-tai and MEAN-tai decreased(P<0.01),tongue thickness index per All increased(P<0.01);(7)Yin-Xu Constitution person tongue color parameters La-zhi and Cr-zhi increased(P<0.01),while S-zhi decreased(P<0.01),tongue texture parameters Con-zhi,ENT-zhi and MEAN-zhi increased(P<0.01),and ASM-zhi decreased(P<0.01).Tongue coating texture parameters Con-tai,ENT-tai and MEAN-tai increased(P<0.01),ASM-tai decreased(P<0.01),and tongue coating thickness index per All decreased(P<0.01).(8)Xue-yu Constitution person tongue color parameters Cb-zhi increased(P<0.01),and H-zhi,La-zhi,Lb-zhi and Cr-zhi decreased(P<0.01).Tongue coating color parameters Cb-tai increased(P<0.01),and H-tai,Lb-tai and Cr-tai decreased(P<0.01).Tongue texture parameters Con-zhi and MEAN-zhi increased(P<0.05),tongue coating texture parameters Con-tai,ENT-tai and MEAN-tai increased(P<0.01),tongue coating thickness index per All increased(P<0.01).Conclusion:(1)The people with Qi deficiency can be distinguished from other biased constitutions by the reddish tongue color,delicate tongue texture and thin white tongue coating.The characteristic changes of qi stagnation tongue were dull tongue color combined with dry tongue coating.The characteristic changes of hygrothermal tongue were red tongue color combined with yellow tongue color and thick tongue coating.The characteristic changes of phlegm-dampness tongue image were light tongue color combined with white tongue color,thick but not rough tongue color.The characteristic changes of the characteristic tongue image were red tongue color combined with rough tongue coating texture.The characteristic changes of Yang deficiency tongue image were light tongue color combined with delicate tongue coating texture.The characteristic changes of Yin deficiency tongue image were red tongue color,less tongue coating combined with rough tongue coating texture.The characteristic change of tongue with blood stasis was dark purple color of tongue coating.(2)The tongue color of people with different constitutions from dark to light: blood stasis(purple)>Yin deficiency(crimson)> characteristic zhi(red)> dampness-heat zhi(red)> peace zhi(light red)> Qi stagnation zhi(light red)> Qi deficiency zhi(light red)> Yang deficiency zhi(light white)> phlegm-dampness zhi(light white);Tongue texture from rough to delicate: Yin deficiency > Qi stagnation zhi,characteristic zhi > blood stasis > damp-heat zhi,peace zhi > qi deficiency zhi,phlegm-dampness zhi > Yang deficiency zhi;The texture of tongue coating from rough to delicate: Yin deficiency zhi > Qi stagnation zhi > characteristic zhi,blood stasis zhi >peace zhi,damp-heat zhi,qi deficiency zhi > phlegm-dampness zhi > Yang deficiency zhi;Tongue coating from thick
