A Study On The Presentation Of The Doctor-patient Binary Relationship From A Third-party Perspective In Medical Documentarie

With the increasing popularity of social attention to medical and health topics,documentaries on medical topics with social responsibility and artistic expression have gradually entered the public’s field of vision,which has triggered multi-level discussions on the relationship between doctors and patients,and has become one of the hot social topics at present.However,for a long time,due to social problems,market demand,media hype,etc.,most medical-themed documentaries cannot objectively present the doctor-patient relationship,and tend to over-highlight the doctor-patient contradiction to attract more traffic and exposure,resulting in the public’s perception of the doctor-patient relationship being biased.In view of the above problems,this paper conducts case analysis and comparative research on a number of past medical-themed documentaries based on the perspective of a third party,and attempts to use third-party perspective narrative in medical documentaries based on the creative practice of his final work "Strange Relatives",from the perspective of narrative strategy and narrative audio-visual,to try whether the use of third-party perspective narrative in medical documentaries can change the situation of excessive presentation of the doctor-patient binary antagonistic relationship,so as to break the public’s cognitive bias of the doctor-patient relationship.The creative practice shows that the real doctor-patient relationship cannot be presented through the subjective perspective of medical care and patients,and telling the story because both parties are biased towards their own positions will bring some misleading to the public.However,through the objective perspective of a third party,the narrative can present the real doctor-patient relationship and the positions and emotions of both parties,deliver more comprehensive content,and provide the audience with a broader perspective to objectively view the doctor-patient relationship.And summarized that in the creation of medical documentaries,social humanistic values should be conveyed and the shooting scale should be grasped to reduce unnecessary contradictions and conflicts.At the theoretical level,this paper expands the perspective of doctor-patient relationship research,deeply explores the role and influence of other participants in doctor-patient relationship,helps to deeply analyze the power structure in doctor-patient relationship,and arouses the attention and attention of relevant researchers to such theories and documentaries to a certain extent.At the practical level,by presenting an objective and true doctor-patient relationship,it gives full play to the unique social value and guiding function of medical documentaries,and provides some suggestions for the benign development of medical documentaries.
