Purpose:With the progress and development of society, the pace of people’s life and work has accelerated, and the pressure has doubled. The proportion of psychological factors and mental state on the disease has gradually increased.Chinese medicine believes that body and soul are one,and psychological and spiritual changes will directly affect the occurrence and development of diseases. In this study,we observed the improvement of TCM syndrome scores,Toronto score, fasting blood glucose(FBG),2h postprandial blood glucose(FBG),and 2h postprandial neuropathy(TPN)in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and lower extremity peripheral neuropathy(DPN).Clinical efficacy of blood glucose(PBG),glycated hemoglobin(Hb A1c),total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG)and blood pressure levels and peripheral nerve conduction velocity. To explore the clinical value of the combined use of acupuncture and medicine based on the concept of body and mind in the treatment of lower extremity peripheral neuropathy in type 2 diabetes mellitus, and objectively evaluate the feasibility, clinical efficacy and safety of this therapy in the treatment of this disease.Material and method:A total of 60 patients with type 2 diabetes and peripheral neuropathy of the lower extremities who were admitted to the Endocrinology Department of the Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from February2021 to December 2021 were selected and divided into control group and observation group according to the random number table method.30 cases in each group. The control group was treated with Tangmoning Mixture(Corydalis Radix,Angelica sinensis,Chuanxiong,Panax notoginseng,Chixueteng)and intravenous infusion of lipoic acid 0.4 mg once a day,and the observation group was treated with the control group. On the basis of the group, the acupuncture manipulation with the concept of the unity of body and mind was added for intervention treatment.Acupoint selection for acupuncture: Main points: Pishu,Shenshu,Yishu,Zusanli,Sanyinjiao,Yanglingquan,Taichong,Baihui,Sishencong and Shenmen.Matching acupoints: Taiyuan and Shaofu acupoints for upper elimination of lung heat and fluid injury;Zhongwan and Neiting points for middle elimination of stomach heat;Taixi acupoint for lower elimination of kidney yin deficiency;Guanyuan for Yin and Yang deficiency Acupuncture point, acupuncture point. For the depth of needle insertion, refer to Liu Qingguo and Hu Ling, who edited the textbooks for the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan” for higher education in the national Chinese medicine industry, and the textbooks for the national higher education of Chinese medicine(the ninth edition): "Meridians and Acupoints"(for acupuncture, moxibustion and massage majors).).All patients adopted the method of leveling and reducing, retaining the needles for 30 minutes, once every other day,and 14 days as a course of treatment. After 2 courses of continuous treatment, the indicators of the patients were collected and statistically analyzed, and the differences before and after treatment were compared. Results:A total of 60 standard cases were included in this study, and 60 were actually completed. Before treatment, there was no significant difference in the index data between the two groups(P>0.05).1.After the treatment, the TCM syndrome scores of the two groups were decreased by the intra-group comparison, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).).2.After the comparison before and after treatment, the Toronto scores of the two groups of patients were significantly decreased within the group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).P < 0.05).3.The levels of FBG,PBG and Hb A1 c in the two groups were significantly improved before and after treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).0.05).4.The levels of TC and TG in the two groups were significantly decreased after treatment, and the difference within the group was statistically significant(P<0.05).0.05).5.From the point of view of blood pressure, the blood pressure of the two groups of patients before and after treatment were improved in different degrees, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).(P>0.05).6.After treatment, the motor nerve conduction velocity(MCV)and sensory nerve conduction velocity(SCV)of the common peroneal nerve and tibial nerve in the two groups were significantly increased, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the observation group The improvement of nerve conduction velocity in the patients was better than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).7.Clinical efficacy: 30 cases in the observation group,7 cases were markedly effective,22 cases were effective,1 case was ineffective, and the total effective rate was 96.67%;86.67%.The clinical efficacy of the two groups of patients in the observation group was better than that in the treatment group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Acupuncture and medicine combined therapy and simple drug therapy have certain curative effects on patients with type 2 diabetes peripheral neuropathy of the lower extremities, which can help to improve the corresponding clinical symptoms, index levels and recovery of damaged nerve functions.2.The combined use of acupuncture and medicine is more effective than medicine alone in improving TCM symptom scores, blood sugar levels and nerve conduction velocity.3.The combination of acupuncture and drugs for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus lower extremity peripheral neuropathy is more specific than conventional drugs alone, and has the characteristics of safety, convenience, and reliable efficacy, and can be promoted.
