Research On Mao Zedong's View On People's Health And Its Contemporary Valu

People’s health is a fundamental issue for people’s happiness,national revitalization and national prosperity,and will become a top priority in the governance of the country.The first generation of the CPC leadership,with Mao Zedong at its core,profoundly grasped the intrinsic connection between the realization of people’s health and the achievement of revolutionary victory and the consolidation of the foundation of governance,and strove to protect people’s health in the process of revolution and construction.It is important to deepen the study of Mao Zedong’s thought,provide valuable spiritual resources for the people’s health and realize the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.Based on the extensive collection of literature and using the method of systematic research,this study strives to construct Mao’s theoretical system on people’s health and deepen Mao’s systematic understanding of people’s health issues.The research logic of this paper is constructed from Mao’s speeches on people’s health and academic studies on Mao’s health-related issues;at the same time,dialectical materialism and historical materialism are applied to systematically examine Mao’s view of people’s health in order to enhance the scientificity and rationality of grasping Mao’s view of people’s health.This thesis is a presentation of the study,which is divided into five parts.The first part is to trace the historical background,practical basis and ideological origin of Mao Zedong’s people’s view of health by applying the basic principles of consciousness generation in order to figure out the materialistic basis of Mao’s people’s view of health generation.The article argues that the theoretical sources of Mao Zedong’s people’s health concept mainly include three aspects: first,the absorption of traditional Chinese health culture;second,the discourse on health issues by classical Marxist writers;and third,the influence of Western health thought.The realistic consideration of the formation of Mao Zedong’s view of people’s health includes deep reflection on the stigma of "sick man of East Asia" in semi-colonial and semi-feudal society and Mao Zedong’s personalized health approach.The second part presents the process of the emergence and development of Mao’s view of people’s health,in order to reflect that things exist in a process way and deepen the understanding of Mao’s view of people’s health.The development process of Mao Zedong’s people’s view of health is divided into three processes: germination,formation and development,according to the analysis and collation of available information.The third part describes the main contents of Mao Zedong’s concept of people’s health,mainly discussing people’s health systematically from various aspects,such as the subject of people’s health,the foundation of people’s health,the advantages of people’s health,and the guarantee of people’s health.The fourth part discusses the important features of Mao Zedong’s people’s health concept,including the people’s nature,national nature,scientific nature and practical nature.The fifth part reveals the contemporary value of Mao’s view of people’s health,including theoretical value and practical value.
