A Study Of Five Elements Occurrence Based On Isomorphic Thinking

Objective:Based on the systemic isomorphic law thinking,we use the philosophical elements of Wuji,Taiji,Yin and Yang,Sancai,and Wu Xing in the classical Chinese philosophical system to explore the law of the occurrence and evolution of the Five Elements,and prove that the occurrence and evolution of the Five Elements occur in strict accordance with the"isomorphic law"of the classical Chinese philosophical system;using the isomorphic thinking of the Five Elements as a guide,we explore the specific application of the Five Elements in the basic theory of Chinese medicine and the theory,method,and prescription of Chinese medicine in clinical practice.Methods:The research method of this paper focuses on the following three approaches:（1）literature research method:through collecting and organizing relevant literature and books on the origin and development of the five elements,we clarify the historical lineage of the origin and development of the five elements;（2）system science method:starting from the whole,based on the relevant principles of system theory,genesis,taxonomy and logic,and guided by isomorphic thinking,we focus on the systematic isomorphic law,philosophical isomorphic law,and mathematical isomorphic law.（3）Model research method:Using the isomorphism law as a guide,we construct a mathematical model of Chinese medicine and find that the yin and yang model,the three talents model,and the five elements model are all in line with the evolutionary and categorical nature of everything in the universe.Results:In terms of philosophy,the five elements take the Taiji"one element"as the evolutionary origin,the Yin and Yang"two elements"as the motivation,the"four elephants and three elements"as the unified evolutionary template,and the two"four elephants and three elements"as the unified evolutionary template.The"eight images and five elements"formed by the fusion of the core of the"four images and three elements"is the final template of the five elements.;in the numerical aspect,the evolution formula S₁=4n evolves the number of phenomena treated by the five elements（image number）,and the evolution formula S₂=2n+1 evolves the classification of the five elements treated by the unified quality（image class）（n is the natural number）,and the ratio of image number to image class of the five elements is 8:5,which is in line with the"image even class odd"rule that the image number is even and the image class is odd.Conclusion:The five elements occur in strict accordance with the isomorphic law of the classical Chinese philosophical system;the evolution of the five elements follows the mathematical law of the isomorphic law from simple to complex,from universal to specific,from quantitative to qualitative change;the five elements are of great importance in the basic theory and clinical practice of Chinese medicine.
