Clinical Observation Of Manwei Decoction Treating Chronic Atrophic Gastritis With Spleen Deficiency And Qi Stagnation

Objective :Through clinical observation and study,the changes of symptoms,serum PGI,PGII,G-17 and endoscopic manifestations of patients with chronic atrophic gastritis(CAG)of spleen deficiency and qi stagnation were analyzed before and after treatment with Manwei Decoction,so as to determine whether Manwei Decoction has practical significance in treating chronic atrophic gastritis of spleen deficiency and qi stagnation.Methods:A total of 74 patients diagnosed with chronic atrophic gastritis(spleen deficiency qi stagnation type)admitted to the outpatient department and inpatient department of the Hepatobiliary and spleen Diseases Department of Ningxia Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2022 to October 2022 were divided into control group(37 cases)and treatment group(37 cases)according to the random number table method.The treatment group was given Manwei Decoction orally,and the control group was given Wei fuchun orally.During the treatment,patients in both groups were given the same basic intervention,including light diet and avoiding overwork.Then,after 3 months of treatment,TCM syndrome scores,gastroscopic pathological manifestations,serum PGI,PGII,G-17 and corresponding safety evaluation indexes were observed before and after treatment in both groups.Statistical software was used to process the collected data.And the clinical efficacy was evaluated.Result:There were no shedding cases in the experiment,and 37 patients in the final treatment group and 37 patients in the control group,and 15 patients with atrophy accompanied with intestinal metaplasia in each group,respectively.1.Comparison of general data: Before treatment,there was no statistical significance in gender,age and average course of disease between the two groups(P>0.05),indicating comparability.2.Comparison of TCM symptom scores: After treatment,the symptoms of epigastric distension and pain,eating less and eating less,pale complexion,fatigue,shortness of breath and lazy speech in Weifuchun tablet group were significantly improved after treatment(P<0.01);However,the improvement effect of loose stool and oral emesis was poor(P>0.05).The symptoms of Manwei decoction group were significantly improved after treatment(P<0.01).The comparison of TCM symptom scores and total scores between Manwei Decoction group and Weifuchun group showed that the therapeutic effect of Manwei decoction group was significantly better than Weifuchun group in improving TCM symptoms(P<0.01).3.Comparison of serum PGI,PGII,G-17: After treatment,both Manwei Decoction and Weifuchun Tablet could increase PGI and decrease PGII and G-17 levels in patients(P<0.05),but the improvement of PGI,PGII and G-17 levels in patients with Manwei decoction was better than that in Weifuchun tablet(P<0.05).4.Gastroscopic pathological comparison: In terms of atrophy,both Manwei decoction group and Weifuchun group could improve atrophy(P<0.05),but the improvement of atrophy in Manwei decoction group was better than that in Wefuchun group(P<0.05).In terms of intestinal metaplasia,Manwei decoction group had an effect on the improvement of intestinal metaplasia(P<0.05),but Weifuchun group had no significant improvement on intestinal metaplasia(P>0.05).5.Comparison of clinical efficacy of TCM: After treatment,in terms of TCM clinical efficacy,the effective rate of Manwei decoction group was 91.89%;The effective rate of Weifuchun tablet group was 70.27%.After testing,there was a statistically significant difference(P<0.01),indicating that the therapeutic effect of Manwei decoction group was significantly better than that of Weifuchun tablet group.Conclusion:1.Manwei Decoction can significantly improve the TCM clinical symptoms of chronic atrophic gastritis patients with spleen deficiency and qi stagnation.2.Manwei Decoction can significantly improve the levels of serum PGI,PGII and G-17 in patients with chronic atrophic stomach with spleen deficiency and qi stagnation.3.Manwei decoction can obviously improve the gastroscopic atrophy of patients with chronic atrophic stomach with spleen deficiency and qi stagnation.4.Manwei Decoction can improve the gastroscopic intestinal metaplasia of patients with chronic atrophic stomach with spleen deficiency and qi stagnation.
