| 【Objective】A randomized and controlled study was conducted to observe the efficacy and safety of recombinant human epidermal growth factor(hEGF)combined with non-crosslinked sodium hyaluronate in repairing skin barrier damage in plateau area.【Method】Sixty female patients aged 20-65 years old with skin barrier injury in Yunnan Plateau area(VISIA red zone feature count ≥50 accompanied by redness,itching,stains,enlarged pores and other symptoms)were randomly divided into 4groups according to inclusion and exclusion criteria: Control group(15 cases),experimental group(1)(15 cases),experimental group(2)(15 cases),and experimental group(3)(15 cases).All groups were injected with 2ml of non-crosslinked sodium hyaluronate in the superficial dermis of the whole face(≤0.5mm)using Demartha 1 generation electronic injection instrument.After the injection,0.5mm disposable sterile skin needle roller was used for the whole face microneedle treatment.The control group was given 1ml normal saline(NS)comprehensive wet application.In the experimental group,1ml 2500 IU hEGF wet compress was given after each injection.The experimental group(2)was given 1ml5000 IU hEGF wet compress after each injection;The experimental group(3)was given 1ml 10000 IU hEGF wet compress after each injection,and the wet compress material was medical sterile hydrating mask,The treatment was given once every 28±7 days,and the treatment period was 4 months.Due to the difference in recruitment time,the study lasted for 7 months.Under the same light condition,the skin detection instrument VISIA was used to detect the skin red zone and its characteristic count before each treatment.Anteroposteric,left-side 45 ° and right-side 45 ° photos were taken and recorded before each treatment.The skin test results and photos of patients were evaluated blind by 2 dermatologists.Patients self-rated symptoms caused by damage to the skin barrier.The results of VISIA skin test,3-angle photographs,physicians’ objective score and patients’ subjective score were used to evaluate the curative effect after the previous treatment.Statistical methods were used to analyze the data,and the improvement of skin redness,itching,freckles and enlarged pores before and after treatment was compared.【Result】1.There was no statistical significance in the three evaluation indexes before treatment(P > 0.05),which proved that the experimental grouping was random.2.The skin barrier repair effect observed by VISIA red zone feature counting was significantly higher in the three experimental groups than in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05);The experimental group(3)was significantly lower than the other three groups;After the first and second treatment,there was no statistical difference between the experimental group(1)and the experimental group(2).After the third treatment,there was a significant difference between the experimental group(1)and the experimental group(2)in the red zone characteristic count(P < 0.003).3.The effect of skin barrier repair was observed by subjective score of patients and objective score of physicians.The experimental group(3)was significantly better than the other three groups,and the difference was significant(P < 0.05);After the first and second treatment,there was no significant difference between the experimental group and the control group(the first time: subjective score P=0.384;Objective score P=0.088,second time: subjective score P=0.298;Objective score P=0.141),the difference was significant after the third treatment(subjective score P <0.009;Objective score P < 0.049);After the first treatment,there was no significant difference between the experimental group(1)and the experimental group(2)(subjective score P=0.114;Objective score P=0.170),the difference was significant after the second treatment(subjective score P < 0.002;Objective score P < 0.001);4.The skin barrier repair effect and rate of 10000 IU hEGF group were significantly higher than those of other groups(P < 0.05);5.According to the mean value calculation,the characteristic count of VISIA red zone,the subjective score of patients and the objective score of physicians in all the experimental groups after each treatment were better than before treatment.6.The total improvement rate of the red zone before and after 3 treatments was18.01% in the control group,35.63% in the experimental group,47.32% in the experimental group and 66.80% in the experimental group.7.No complications such as facial allergy,redness,hyperplasia and induration were found among the 60 subjects after treatment.【 Conclusion 】 Human epidermal growth factor(hEGF)combined with non-crosslinked sodium hyaluronate can more effectively repair skin barrier damage in plateau area,and the skin barrier repair effect shows a positive correlation with the increase of hEGF concentration.For the repair of skin barrier,regular,scientific treatment and good daily skin care of patients are needed to achieve the best results. |
