The Study Of Puncturing Xi-acupoint With Lingnan Fire Needle In The Treatment Of Cervical Spondylosis Radiculopathy

ObjectiveThrough clinical observation of Lingnan Fire Needle pricking Xi-cleft points;on the pain visual analog scale of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy,Tanaka Yasuhisa Cervical Spine Symptom Scale 20 points and Neck Disability Index;evaluate Lingnan Fire Needle pricking Xi-cleft points in the treatment of nerve root cervical spondylosis.Therefore,it provides an objective basis for the treatment of CSR with Lingnan Fire Needle acupuncture at Xi-cleft point.MethodsIn strict accordance with the established inclusion and exclusion criteria,this study collected and recorded 72 patients from the Acupuncture and Moxibustion Rehabilitation Clinic of the Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine Affiliated to Guangzhou Medical University from February to October 2022 after estimating the sample size.The subjects were divided into control group and observation group,each group consisted of 36 patients.The control group was given conventional acupuncture,and the acupoints were selected according to the "Acupuncture and Moxibustion" monographs on acupuncture and moxibustion-Internal Medicine Syndrome-Skin Traumatology Syndrome-Xiangbi,and selected Jiaji,Ashi,Tianzhu,Shenmai and Houxi points on the affected side;treatment 2times a week,2 weeks in total;on the basis of conventional acupuncture,the observation group selected Wenliu acupoint on Yangming large intestine meridian,Yanglao acupoint on Taiyang small intestine meridian of hand,and Huizong point on Hand Shaoyang Sanjiao meridian of the affected side were treated with Lingnan fire acupuncture,2 times a week for 2 weeks in total.The VAS score was performed after the first treatment,and the VAS score,NDI score,and CSR20 score were performed before and after 2 weeks of treatment.SPSS25.0 was used to statistically analyze the data,and the changes and differences in scores between the two groups before and after treatment were compared,so as to evaluate the clinical efficacy of Lingnan fire needle pricking Xi-cleft points.Results1.Baseline analysis: After relevant cases dropped out and eliminated,this study finally included 32 people in the observation group and 31 people in the control group;after statistical analysis,there was no statistically significant difference in the basic data(age and gender)of the two groups of patients(P> 0.05),which are comparable.And before treatment,the VAS score,NDI score,and CSR20 score of the two groups of research objects were compared,suggesting that there was no statistical difference in the results(P>0.05),which were comparable.2.VAS score analysis: before treatment,after the first treatment of the two groups of research subjects,the change of VAS score value after 2 weeks of treatment was statistically different(P<0.05),suggesting that both treatment schemes can improve the pain symptoms of patients,and the effect of the observation group was more obvious(P<0.05).3.NDI score analysis: before treatment,after 2 weeks of treatment,there was a statistically significant difference in the NDI score between the two groups(P<0.05),suggesting that both treatment options can improve cervical spine dysfunction in CSR patients,and the effect of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the observation group.more obvious(P<0.05).4.CSR20 score analysis: Compared with before treatment,the CSR20 score of the two groups of patients after 2 weeks of treatment was significantly different(P<0.05),suggesting that both treatment options can improve the symptoms of CSR patients,and the effect of the observation group is more obvious(P<0.05).5.Efficacy analysis: In terms of clinical curative effect,after 2 weeks of treatment,the number of clinical control in the observation group was 10(31.3%),the number of markedly effective was 11(34.4%),the number of effective was 10(31.3%),and the number of ineffective was 1(3.1%);1 person(3.23%)in clinical control in the control group,10 people(32.3%)who were markedly effective,18 people(58.1%)who were effectively treated,and 2 people who were ineffective(6.5%)%),It shows that Lingnan Fire Needle acupuncture at Qi acupoints has a better effect on improving the symptoms and neurological functions of CSR patients(P<0.05).ConclusionBoth Lingnan fire acupuncture and conventional acupuncture can improve the clinical symptoms and neurological function of CSR patients,reduce VAS score,NDI score,and improve CSR20 score,but Lingnan fire acupuncture has better curative effect,which is worthy of further clinical promotion.
