The Study Of Academic Experience And Medication Rules Of Traditional Chinese Medicine Pediatrics In Lingnan Before The Founding Of The People’s Republic Of China

ObjectiveThis study collected and sorted out the ancient books and medical records of Lingnan Pediatrics before the founding of the People’s Republic of China,conducted a large-scale induction and analysis of their academic thoughts,diagnosis and treatment characteristics and clinical experience,summarized the academic experience of various hospitals in the diagnosis and treatment of pediatric diseases from the Ming and Qing dynasties to the Republic of China,and initially presented the academic source,academic thoughts and diagnosis and treatment characteristics of Lingnan Pediatrics,in order to give full play to the advantages of Lingnan traditional Chinese medicine pediatrics,Inherit and carry forward the theoretical essence and clinical experience of Lingnan traditional Chinese medicine pediatrics,and lay the foundation for clinical diagnosis and treatment of pediatric diseases and child health care.Methods1.Literature research method: including literature search,data collection,identification,sorting,compilation,etc.This study is based on the "Lingnan Medical Book Examination",mainly through the online search in the basic database of the national ancient book census registration and the major libraries in Guangzhou,the textual research is lost,and the records can be found in the Lingnan pediatrics ancient book and its version source.2.Content analysis method: including the method of reasoning and comparison,comparing Lingnan ancient pediatrics books and ancient pediatrics books of similar historical periods,reasoning and studying the academic experience of various doctors from the theoretical interpretation,therapeutic prescriptions and medical cases in the literature,exploring the academic origin of doctors,and extracting famous Lingnan pediatrics and ancient books with certain academic characteristics.3.Theory review method: comprehensively use the methods of classification analysis,traditional interpretation,relevant comparison,etc.,and take the research methods on theory condensation in the Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine Literature as the industry benchmark,and make a concise comparison of the academic experience of Lingnan famous pediatricians in the past dynasties before the founding of the People’s Republic of China according to the requirements of its writing standards.4.Data mining method: after sorting and collecting the modern Lingnan pediatric medical records,and standardizing the data,with the help of the data mining function of the ancient and modern medical records cloud platform,the total drugs will be analyzed with the functions of the frequency statistics of traditional Chinese medicine,the four gases and five flavors,and the statistics of the efficacy of meridians.The frequency statistics of fever,diarrhea,malnutrition and measles were carried out respectively.Results1.Literature search results: based on the 577 ancient books and documents collected in Lingnan Medical Records,we can find 11 existing pediatric monographs,7 acne monographs,7 comprehensive medical books(including women’s and children’s monographs)involving paediatrics,and 3 paediatrics handouts before the founding of the People’s Republic of China,totaling 28.2.Based on the 28 ancient Lingnan pediatrics books obtained from the literature search,combined with the medical records and experience collection of modern Lingnan doctors,through content analysis,12 Lingnan doctors were included in the study,including8 doctors in the Ming and Qing dynasties and 4 doctors in the Republic of China.The academic experience of each doctor was summarized.3.A total of 100 prescriptions and medicines in modern Lingnan pediatric medical records were collected,and the drug frequency,sex and taste were analyzed,as well as the drug frequency of common diseases such as fever,diarrhea,malnutrition and measles.The results showed that in the 100 prescriptions,most of them were lung diseases and spleen and stomach diseases;A total of 228 kinds of drugs were used in the medical record,of which the most used were forsythia suspensa,red peony and fritillaria thunbergii,27 Lingnan herbs and 14 flower medicines.The analysis of the sexual taste was mainly composed of sweet and cold drugs,and the most used drugs were antipyretic drugs and diuretic drugs;A total of 108 drugs were used in 39 fever prescriptions,of which the most used were forsythia,paeonia rubra and Mutong;The 21 laxative prescriptions used 82 kinds of drugs,of which the most used were poria cocos,roasted licorice and fried atractylodes macrocephala;There are 43 kinds of drugs used in the eight Chanji formulas,among which the most used are cuttlebone,chicken inner gold and corrugated;The 18 measles formulas used 60 kinds of drugs,of which the most used were forsythia,burdock and honeysuckle.Conclusion1.Lingnan Pediatrics originated in the Jin and Tang dynasties,developed in the Ming and Qing dynasties,and flourished in modern times.In terms of academic origin,Lingnan physicians in the Ming and Qing Dynasties inherited the theory of pediatrics in the Central Plains and were greatly influenced by Qian Yi,Zhang Jingyue and Xia Yuzhu.The doctors after Chen Fuzheng,such as Ren Zan,Yu Hanfen,He Shouyu,Cheng Kangpu and Huang Zhongxian,were all affected by Chen’s academic thoughts to varying degrees,which were reflected in pediatric medicine,treatment of convulsion,fingerprint diagnosis,and external treatment.The Republic of China and four physicians,Yang Heling,Lu Chubai,Lu Anqing and Guo Meifeng,have the same characteristics in academic origin.2.Based on the analysis of the medication rules of modern Lingnan pediatrics medical records,the conclusions are as follows: pay attention to the diagnosis and treatment of febrile diseases,treat them from the three organs of lung,spleen and stomach,use sweet and cold drugs,and use antipyretic drugs and diuretic drugs,and make good use of southern medicine anthers.3.Before the founding of the People’s Republic of China,the main academic characteristics of Lingnan Traditional Chinese Medicine Pediatrics were as follows:attaching importance to the spleen and stomach,and using attack with caution;Treating children’s dry fire and febrile diseases according to local conditions;Four diagnostic methods should be combined and attention should be paid to observation;Be nimble in using medicine and make good use of southern medicine anthers;Simple inspection,convenient and cheap,and attach importance to external governance;Combine medicine with food,and use food as medicine.Before the founding of the People’s Republic of China,Lingnan Pediatrics had a huge academic treasure to be developed and applied by future generations in terms of academic theory,application of southern medicine,and external treatment and dietotherapy.
