Meta Analysis Of The Efficacy And Safety Of Danhong Injection Combined With Statins On Unstable Angina

Objective: To evaluate the efficacy and safety of Danhong injection combined with statins in the treatment of unstable angina(UA)pectoris.Methods:The randomized controlled trials of Danhong injection combined with statins in the treatment of UA were searched,including China Biomedical Literature Database,China knowledge Network Database,VIP Journal Database,Wanfang Journal Database,Cochrane Library and Pub Med.The deadline for search is August 30,2021.The outcome indicators included total effective rate,hypersensitive c-reactive protein level,changes in electrocardiogram,improvement of angina symptoms(duration and frequency of angina pectoris),changes in blood lipids(cholesterol,triglyceride)and randomized controlled trials of adverse events(RCT).Data extraction,quality evaluation and data analysis were carried out on the included literature,and Meta analysis was carried out by using Rev Man5.3 software.Results: A total of 23 studies were included,involving 2414 subjects,including 1214 in the experimental group and 1200 in thecontrol group.Meta analysis showed that Danhong injection combined with any kind of statins could significantly improve the total effective rate of angina pectoris compared with western medicine(OR=4.23,95%CI=[3.13,5.71],P<0.00001).There were also significant therapeutic effects on the improvement rate of electrocardiogram(OR=3.26,95%CI=[2.25,4.71],P<0.00001),the duration of angina pectoris(MD=-1.12,95%CI=[-1.34,-0.89],P<0.00001),the frequency of angina pectoris(MD=-0.99,95%CI=[-1.21,-0.76],P<0.00001),the level of total cholesterol(MD=-0.59,95%CI=[-1.08,-0.10],P=0.02),triglyceride(MD=-0.46,95%CI=[-0.79,-0.12],P=0.007)and hypersensitive C-reactive protein(MD=-2.14,95%CI=[-2.76,-1.52],P<0.00001).At the same time,there was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between Danhong injection and statins compared with western medicine(OR=1.93,95%CI=[0.57,6.50],P=0.29).Conclusion: The curative effect of Danhong injection combined with statins in the treatment of unstable angina pectoris is more significant than that of western medicine.
