Objective:To investigate the prevalence of hyperuricemia(HUA)among medical examiners in the Affiliated Hospital of Hangzhou Normal University,to study the factors affecting HUA and its relationship with hypertension, kidney damage, fatty liver, dyslipidemia, obesity and other diseases, and to establish a scientific basis for the prevention and treatment of HUA.Methods:1.subjects:those who underwent health checkups at the affiliated hospital of Hangzhou Normal University from 2021.12 to 2022.05 were selected as the study subjects.2.Health checkup content:including BMI,blood pressure, uric acid, alanine aminotransferase(ALT),aspartate aminotransferase(AST),creatinine(Cr),fasting blood glucose(FBG),total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG),liver ultrasound findings, low density lipoprotein(LDL),high density lipoprotein(HDL),urine p H value and other indicators.3.Statistical methods:The collected health checkup information was entered by EXCEL,and the database file was created and imported into SPSS 26.0 for statistical analysis after the consistency test was correct.Results:1.overall status of the study population:there were 2137 subjects, including 1144males,accounting for 53.5%;993 females, accounting for 46.5%;mean age49.16±15.75 years,of which 267 cases≤30 years old, accounting for 12.5%;512 people aged 31-40 years old, accounting for 24.0%;359 people aged 41-50 years old, accounting for 16.8%;434 people(20.3%)in the 51-60 years old group;367 people(17.2%)in the 61-70 years old group;198 people(9.2%)in the 70 years old and above group.2.Prevalence of HUA:A total of 2137 cases of health check-ups,487 HUA,with a detection rate of 22.8%.(1)The detection rate of HUA in different genders:the detection rate of HUA in males and females was 30.1%and 14.4%,respectively.The detection rate of males was significantly higher than of females. The difference was statistically significant(c~2=74.175,p<0.001).(2)HUA detection rate in different age groups:29.6%in the≤30 years old group,17.0%in the 31-40 years old group,20.1%in the 41-50 years old group,18.4%in the51-60 years old group,55.6%in the 61-70 years old group, and 28.8%in the over 70years old group, the difference was statistically significant(c~2=39.505,P<0.001).(3)The detection rate of HUA in different liver B ultrasound conditions:the detection rate of HUA in patients with fatty liver was 35.5%;the detection rate of HUA in people without fatty liver was 12.0%,and the difference was statistically significant(c~2=166.611,P<0.001).(4)The detection rate of HUA in different BMI:the detection rate of HUA was14.1%in normal BMI and 28.9%in overweight;the detection rate of HUA in obese people was 45.9%,and the difference was statistically significant(c~2=135.579,P<0.001).(5)The detection rate of HUA in different blood pressure:the detection rate of HUA in normal systolic blood pressure was 21.4%,the detection rate of HUA in elevated systolic blood pressure was 28.9%,the detection rate of HUA in normal diastolic blood pressure was 21.7%,and the detection rate of HUA in elevated diastolic blood pressure was34.7%.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.001).(6)HUA detection rate of related laboratory indicators:The detection rate of HUA in the group with increased TC,TG,ALT,AST,Cr,fasting blood glucose, decreased HDL and acidic urine p H was significantly higher than that in the normal group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).(7)The results showed that age, sex,BMI,ALT,AST,SBP,DBP,Cr,TG,TC,LDL,HDL,fatty liver, urine Ph were associated with HUA(P<0.05),No correlation between FBG and HUA.(8)Multi-factor logistic regression analysis:Men with fatty liver, overweight or obesity, and elevated AST,TG,LDL,and Cr values increase the risk of developing HUA,while high HDL and alkaline urine p H decrease the risk of developing HUA.3.Comparison of indexes between HUA group and normal group:BMI,SBP,DBP,FBG,AST,ALT,TC,TG,LDL and Cr of HUA patients were higher than normal group;HDL and urinary Ph values were lower than normal group. The differences were statistically significant(P<0.001).Conclusion:1.the detection rate of HUA was higher among residents in some areas of Hangzhou, and there were differences between men and women and age groups.2.All indexes detected in HUA patients were higher than those in the normal population.3.The prevalence of HUA is closely related to fatty liver,overweight/obesity and elevated blood pressure, which may be a risk factor for the HUA.4.The elevation of AST,TG,LDL and Cr may increase the risk of HUA,while HDL,alkaline urine p H may have a protective effect on HUA.
