Objective: Updated 2017 meta-analysis of associations between lymphocyte subsets and disease risk for Parkinson’s disease(PD).Methods:To search for Web of Science,Ovid-lww-oup,Elsevier Scie nce Direct,Pub Med,Springer Link,Ebsco-medline with full text and Wanfa ng Data Knowledge Service platform database were published case-control studies on T,B and NK lymphocyte subsets associated with PD from the establishment of the database to 2022-8-15.According to Cochrane system atic evaluation method, objective literature screening, extraction effect size and quality evaluation. Then a meta-analysis was performed using Rev Ma n 5.4 software. Results:Finally,A total of 30 case-control studies were included in this meta-analysis,including 1747 cases in the control group and 1452 cases in the case group. The results of the meta-analysis showed that the CD3+ T lymphocyte count was reduced in the case group compared with the control group [WMD=-5.41,95%CI(-7.17,-3.65).P<0.001],CD4+T lymphocyte count decreased [SMD =-0.77,95%CI(-123,-0.32),P<0.001],B lymphocyte count decreased [SMD =-0.95%CI(-0.45,-0.04),P=0.02],NK cell count increased [SMD = 0.75,95% CI(0.45,1.04),P < 0.001],CD4+ /CD8+ ratio decreased [SMD =-0.34,95%CI(-0.52,-0.15),P<0.001];There was no significant difference in CD8+T lymphocyte count between case group and control group [SMD =-0.444,95%CI(-2.02,1.13),P = 0.44].Conclusions: A reduced ratio of CD3+T lymphocytes,CD4+T lymph ocytes,B lymphocytes,CD4+T cells /CD8+T cells or an increased NK ce ll count may lead to an increased risk of PD,while CD8+ T lymphocyte subsets are not associated with the risk of PD.
