With the improvement of living standards,the public’s attention to their own eye health has been increasing,and people are willing to invest funds and energy in eye diagnosis and treatment,presenting a diversified and personalized trend in demand for ophthalmic hospital diagnosis and treatment services.As an important institution providing medical diagnosis and services to the public,ophthalmic hospitals are playing an increasingly important role in social production and life.In particular,the aging population in China is increasing,and the degree of myopia and eye diseases among young people is deepening.The increasing attention to eye health work by the central government and the State Council have promoted the development of private ophthalmic hospitals.A Eye Hospital has attracted a large number of customers with its professional advantages,quality brand,and quality services.However,in recent years,under the dual impact of the epidemic and digital transformation,A Eye Hospital has failed to grasp the development trend,resulting in declining competitiveness and problems such as unclear development strategies,homogenization of diagnostic services,incomplete system construction,and exacerbated talent loss.This article conducts an in-depth study of the competitive strategy of A Eye Hospital based on relevant theories of competitive strategy.Firstly,the article analyzes the overview and environment of A Eye Hospital,traces its development history,analyzes the internal environment,and uses PEST and Five Forces models to respectively analyze the macro-environment and industry environment of A Eye Hospital.Secondly,by combining the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP)to obtain the IFE and EFE matrix analysis of A Eye Hospital,constructing and analyzing the SWOT matrix of alternative solutions,and conducting a comprehensive Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix(QSPM)analysis to analyze the competitive strategy selection of A Eye Hospital in the current stage,and then formulate the most suitable differentiated competitive strategy for the hospital.In addition,this study will also propose plans for implementing and controlling the strategy,aimed at helping A Eye Hospital obtain a competitive advantage in the field of ophthalmology.Through this research,a more scientific method for selecting competitive strategies for eye hospitals will be provided,and new perspectives and reference models will be provided for academic research in related fields.
