Professor Dai Enlai’s Academic Thought Of "Combining Disease And Syndrome,Complementing Advantages" And Clinical Application Of Kidney Disease Research

Objective:To explore the clinical significance of Professor Dai Enlai’s academic thought of "co mbining disease and syndrome,complementing each other’s advantages"Methods:1.Through literature study,special lectures,clinical consultation with teachers and other methods,summarize and study Professor Dai Enlai’s academic thought of "combining disease and syndrome and complementing each other’s advantages".2.The efficacy indexes of the western medicine group and the combined Chinese and Western medicine group for primary nephrotic syndrome were analyzed through the case-control study,supporting the theory of "combining disease and syndrome with complementary advantages".Results:1.According to Professor Dai Enlai,the connotation of combination of disease and syndrome is divided into two aspects.First,combination of disease and syndrome is an overall grasp of the universality and particularity of diseases.Strengths are able to achieve the combination of points,overall grasp,take into account the individual;Second,the combination of disease and syndrome is to achieve the macro and micro,overall and local,pathogenicity of the pathogen and the reactivity of the organism.2.Professor Dai Enlai believes that the diagnosis of diseases requires the combination of disease and syndrome,which can grasp the disease from different aspects,so as to have a complete understanding of the disease,so as to improve clinical efficacy.3.Professor Dai Enlai believes that micro syndrome differentiation can complement macro syndrome differentiation,extend and broaden the vision of the four diagnoses of TCM,and provide quantifiable evidence for clinical syndrome differentiation.4.Professor Dai Enlai divided the treatment mode of combining disease and syndrome into four modes: treatment by syndrome,treatment by stages,treatment by prescription and syndrome relative,and treatment by addition and subtraction of fixed prescription.5.Professor Dai Enlai believes that complementary advantages are the embodiment and continuation of the combination of disease and syndrome therapy.Complementary advantages mainly have three levels of meaning,respectively: 1,simple Western medicine treatment;2.Simple TCM treatment;3.Organic combination of Chinese and Western medicine.Among them,several typical models of organic combination of Chinese and Western medicines are "reducing toxicity and enhancing effectiveness","combining bacterial toxicity and treatment","staging application of Chinese and Western medicines","Western use of Chinese medicines" and so on.6.Professor Dai Enlai has applied "combining disease and syndrome with complementary advantages" to the treatment of various kidney diseases.7.In the retrospective study of primary nephrotic syndrome patients with spleen-kidney Yang deficiency and Qi-yin deficiency,both the Western medicine treatment group and the combined treatment group of Chinese and Western medicine were improved compared with before,and the Chinese and Western medicine treatment group(except blood creatinine)was superior to the simple western medicine group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),which confirmed the theoretical feasibility of "combining disease and syndrome with complementary advantages"Conclusion:Professor Dai Enlai has a profound and systematic understanding of "combining disease and syndrome with complementary advantages",and has rich connotations in its connotation,diagnosis,syndrome differentiation and treatment mode,which is not only theoretically feasible and instructive,but also proved by clinical examples.It shows that Professor Dai Enlai’s academic thought of "combining disease and syndrome with complementary advantages" has research value and corresponding clinical significance.
