The Research On Zhuyoushu Of Ancient Medical Practice From The Perspective Of Qi Theory

1 Research purposeThe purpose of this thesis is to trace the origin of Zhuyoushu(A medical technique using incantation)in ancient times from the perspective of ’Qi theory of Chinese Medicine’.Based on the previous views raised by Yellow Emperor’s Inner Canon that ’Yijing BianQi’,this thesis tries to combine the innovative theory and technology of Qi theory of Chinese medicine,and deeply analyze the medical principles contained in Zhuyoushu,to remove its mysterious cloak and debunk its reasonable core.It is verified by the experiment of Setting up Qi Field to promote the creative transformation and innovative development of Zhuyoushu in the new era.2 Research MethodsThis paper is divided into two parts:theoretical research and experimental verification.Firstly,the literature related to Zhuyoushu is widely collected,and on the basis of previous research results,the theoretical research is carried out by means of data collation and systematic comparison.The first chapter combs the concept interpretation,origin,form and thought of ancient Zhuyoushu;the second chapter examines the application of Zhuyoushu in ancient medical activities.The third chapter focuses on the medical connotation and utility of Zhuyoushu,and expounds the mechanism of Zhuyoushu by combining the related theories and techniques of Chinese medicine Qi theory such as Setting up Qi Field and The Correlation between Mind and Qi.The fourth chapter is the experimental verification part.The model organism Caenorhabditis elegans with a short growth cycle and a lifespan of 2-3 weeks was selected as the experimental object.To establish the hypothesis that’ Setting up Qi Field can produce the regulation effect of delaying the aging of C.elegans’,conduct group field intervention,compare the changes of physiological and biochemical indexes of C.elegans in blank group and group field group,comprehensively evaluate the effect of Setting up Qi Field on delaying the aging of C.elegans,and verify whether the hypothesis is established.3 Research Results Through theoretical research,it is concluded that the traditional Chinese medicine Zhuyoushu under the definition of The Inner Canon of Huangdi is a traditional Chinese medicine treatment technology.It includes five elements:idea,language,action,object and practice.Under the premise of knowing the cause of the disease,the performer are required to make himself reach the state of unity of mind and Qi by discipline and cultivation method of regulating mind and nourishing Qi,to adjust the Qi inside and outside the human body,to achieve the purpose of strengthening the body resistance and eliminating pathogenic factors,preventing and treating diseases.The theory and technology of Setting up Qi Field abandons the mysterious forms of Zhuyoushu,such as the spell of inviting gods and serving ghosts,focuses on the power of human mind,sticks to the essence of Correlation between Mind and Qi,directly combines mind with Qi,and refines the operation of Zhuyoushu into three steps:gathering Qi,synergizing Qi,and issuing mind instructions,which realizes the sublation of Zhuyoushu.The experimental results show that the life span of C.elegans intervened by the Setting up Qi Field is longer than that of the blank group,the heat stress ability and exercise ability are improved,and the fat level is decreased,which reflects that the Setting up Qi Field has a certain degree of regulation.The role of external life bodies has partially verified the scientific nature of ’human mind can regulate the Qi of the human body and the Qi of nature ’(the effect of the principle of Qi correlation).4 Research conclusionsThis thesis analyzes Zhuyoushu of ancient medical practice from the perspective of Qi theory of Chinese medicine,and debunks that’ Yijing Bianqi’,the essence of Zhuyoushu ’ is the regulation performed by human mind on the Qi of the body and the Qi of Nature(that is,the effect of Correlation between Mind and Qi),and verifies the effectiveness of the technology of Setting up Qi Field through experiments.
