Clinical Efficacy Of Mongolian Medicine Erdun Wurile And Shusha-7 In The Treatment Of Depression

Objective In this study,we selected Erdun Wurile and Shausha-7 and Flupentixol and Melitracen Tablets to treat mild to moderate depression.We analyzed the changes in the scores of the HAMD-17,the five dimensional scores of the HAMD-17 scale,SDS,PSQI,and the Mongolian Medical Depression Symptom Scale in patients with depression,and evaluate the efficacy of treating depression.To provide scientific basis for the clinical selection of Erdun Wurile and Shausha-7 in the treatment of depression.Methods A total of 63 patients who met the inclusion criteria in the outpatient and inpatient departments of Inner Mongolia International Mongolian Medical Hospital from January 2022 to February 2023 were randomly divided into a treatment group of 31 cases and a control group of 32 cases;In the treatment group,15 pills of Erdun Wurile were taken orally after lunch every day,15 pills of Shusha-7 were taken orally every night before going to bed,and one tablet of Flupentixol and Melitracen Tablets was taken orally in the morning and one tablet in the noon(one tablet for elderly patients in the morning).The control group was given Flupentixol and Melitracen Tablets orally in the morning and at noon,respectively(1 tablet for elderly patients in the morning).Both groups were treated for 4 weeks.The scores of HAMD-17 scale,SDS scale,PSQI scale,and Mongolian Medical Depression Symptom Scale were recorded before enrollment,after 2 weeks of treatment,and after 4 weeks of treatment.The data were statistically analyzed using SPSS25.0 software.Results 1.There was no significant difference between the two groups in terms of age,gender,pre treatment HAMD-17 scale,SDS scale,PSQI scale,and Mongolian Medical Depression Symptom Scale scores(p>0.05),and the two groups were comparable.2.After 4 weeks of treatment,the symptom scores of HAMD-17 scale,SDS scale,PSQI scale,and Mongolian Medical Depression Symptom Scale in the treatment group were statistically significant compared to those before treatment(p<0.05).After 4 weeks of treatment,the scores of depression,hypochondria,loss of interest,loss of appetite,sleep disorder,palpitation,and irritability in the Mongolian Medical Depression Symptom Scale and HAMD-17 scale,SDS scale,PSQI scale in the control group were significantly different from those before treatment(p<0.05),while the scores of crying in the Mongolian Medical Depression Symptom Scale were not significantly different from those before treatment(p>0.05).It is suggested that both groups of treatment can improve depressive symptoms and sleep quality.3.When comparing the treatment group and the control group after 4 weeks of treatment,there was a statistically significant difference in the scores of each symptom on the HAMD-17 scale,SDS scale,PSQI scale,and Mongolian Medical Depression Symptom Scale(P<0.05).The score of the treatment group was lower than that of the control group.It is suggested that the treatment group is superior to the control group in improving depressive symptoms and sleep quality.4.In the treatment group,after 4 weeks of treatment,1 case was cured,10 cases were significantly effective,15 cases were effective,and 4 cases were ineffective.The total effective rate was 86.7%;In the control group,after 4 weeks of treatment,0 cases were cured,2 cases were significantly effective,22 cases were effective,and 6 cases were ineffective.The total effective rate was 80.0%.When comparing the total effective rate of the two groups of patients,Z=-2.334,p=0.020(p<0.05)was statistically significant,indicating that the treatment group was superior to the control group in improving depressive symptoms.5.The patients in the treatment group and the control group did not experience any discomfort during the medication period.Conclusion 1.The treatment group using Erdun Wurile and Shausha-7 combined with Flupentixol and Melitracen Tablets has a better effect on reducing the scores of HAMD-17,SDS,PSQI,and Mongolian Medical Depression Symptom Scale than the control group using dropethiol melitracene tablets alone.2.The efficacy of Erdun Wurile and Shausha-7 combined with Flupentixol and Melitracen Tablets in improving mild to moderate depression is better than that of dropethiol melitracen tablets alone.The combination of Mongolian medicine Erdun Wurile and Shausha-7can improve depressive symptoms.3.This study provides specific clinical data on the treatment of depression with Mongolian medicine Erdun Wurile and Shausha-7,providing new ideas and approaches for the treatment of depression with Mongolian medicine.
