Research On Maternal And Infant Health Work In Taihang Base

Maternal and infant health care is an important part of the social security system.The Communist Party of China has always attached great importance to this issue and regarded it as a basic work to safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of women and children and promote the all-round development of women and children.During the period of the comprehensive Anti-Japanese War,the Taihang Base was deeply affected by war and natural disasters.The economic development in its jurisdiction was slow,the people ’s concept was backward,and the medical and health conditions were extremely poor.Lack of learning opportunities for women,lack of health care knowledge,maternal and child illness is very common.Based on the significance of maternal and infant health in wartime to support the war,promote the construction of the base area and consolidate its leadership,the Communist Party of China began to implement maternal and infant health care in the Taihang Base to alleviate maternal and infant diseases,protect the future generations of the revolution,and promote production development and social progress.Based on rich historical materials,this paper focuses on maternal and infant health issues,systematically studies the maternal and infant health care work in the Taihang Base,objectively analyzes the work measures of the government in the base area and the actual situation of the people,explores its interactive relationship,and summarizes historical experience and realistic enlightenment.Firstly,this paper introduces the origin and research status of this topic,and briefly describes the research methods and innovation points.Secondly,it sorts out the current situation of maternal and infant health in Taihang Base,such as early marriage and early childbearing,old delivery methods,gynecological diseases,foot-binding and infant drowning,and analyzes many causes that endanger the health of women and infants,such as social conditions,medical technology,superstition,war,famine and epidemic diseases.Thirdly,it discusses the specific practice of maternal and infant health care in the Taihang Base,mainly through the promulgation of policies and laws,the establishment of health institutions,and the work of nursing homes,women’s rescue associations,schools,etc.,forming a more comprehensive maternal and infant health care mechanism.For the benefit of the people of Taihang,the government of Taihang Base vigorously promotes the new delivery method,cultivates new delivery personnel,and popularizes scientific delivery methods;carry out the prevention and treatment of maternal and infant diseases,and improve the public health concept and health level in the mass health campaign;to carry out maternal and infant health education and spread the scientific concept of maternal and infant health care.After exploration and practice,the maternal and infant diseases in the Taihang Base have been greatly alleviated,and the quality of the people has been improved.The established medical institutions and trained health personnel have also laid an important foundation for the development of China ’s health undertakings.Finally,it summarizes the social effectiveness,historical experience,shortcomings and practical significance of maternal and infant health care in the Taihang Base.In general,the maternal and infant health care work in the Taihang Base is a microcosm of wartime social work.The health care system formulated by the government and various measures implemented have effectively improved the physical quality and cultural level of the people and formed a set of effective maternal and infant health care mechanisms.However,there are also some shortcomings,such as the existence of safeguard measures that only benefit urban women,obvious regional differences,and inadequate implementation of governance policies.The situation of women is the real situation of a country ’s nationals;the spiritual outlook of women is the true nature of a nation.At present,women in China are facing the pressure of fertility and parenting again,and it is still necessary to promote the rapid development of maternal and infant health care.The research results can not only reflect the living conditions of Taihang women and contribute to the study of social history,but also provide reference and inspiration for the current work of maternal and infant health care,protection of women ’s basic rights and interests,and optimizing the population structure.
