| Objective:To understand the current situation of scientific fitness literacy level and health status of community health care workers in Shihezi City,8th Division, and to explore the relationship between them,so as to provide reference for improving scientific fitness literacy and health status of community health care workers. Methods:In this study,a stratified whole-group sampling method was used to survey community health care providers in Shihezi City,Division 8,in 2021.Firstly,stratification was performed according to the administrative planning of Shihezi city, and according to the proportion of community health care institutions in urban areas and townships, two community health care institutions were randomly selected in urban areas of Shihezi city and five community health care institutions were randomly selected in townships, and all health care workers in the sampled health care institutions were taken as the study subjects.Questionnaires were collected using a self-administered basic profile questionnaire, the Adult Scientific Fitness Literacy Scale, the Quantitative Test of Sub-Health Status Scale, and the Exercise Self-Efficacy Scale. The potential categories of scientific fitness literacy of community health care workers were explored using latent profile analysis;Kruskal-Wallis rank sum test was used to compare the differences in potential categories of scientific fitness literacy and health status of community health care workers with different characteristics;unordered multicategorical logistic regression was used to analyse the factors influencing different potential categories of scientific fitness literacy and their relationship with health status.Results:1.The total score of scientific fitness literacy among community health care workers in Shihezi City,8th Division(104.64±24.15),where the scores of scientific fitness knowledge, scientific fitness attitude, scientific fitness behavior and skills dimensions were(50.16±10.87),(23.92±5.41),(30.56±13.54),respectively,and the mean scores of each dimensional entry were(2.18±0.65),(2.17±0.66),and(1.61±0.85),respectively.2.The potential categories of scientific fitness literacy among community health care workers in Shihezi City of the 8th Division can be divided into 3 categories: high scientific fitness literacy group(15.10%),medium scientific fitness literacy group(59.90%),and low scientific fitness literacy group(25.00%).3.The different scientific fitness literacy categories were influenced by gender, years of work,education,fitness,self-perceived health, and exercise self-efficacy.A higher proportion of community health care workers with >20 years of work experience, college or less education, participation in fitness, and high exercise self-efficacy had high scientific fitness literacy.A higher proportion of community health care workers with moderate scientific fitness literacy were male, college or less educated, involved in fitness, and had good self-efficacy for exercise(p<0.05).4.The proportions of healthy, subhealthy, and diseased community health care workers in Shihezi, the eighth division, were 29.50%,44.90%,and 25.60%,respectively.5.The health status of community health care workers in Shihezi,8th Division, was influenced by age.Community health care workers aged >40 years were at higher risk of developing diseases.6.Community health workers in the "low scientific fitness literacy group" were at the highest risk of developing sub-health and developing diseases compared to healthy community health workers.Conclusion:1.The scientific fitness literacy of community health care workers in Shihezi City of the 8th Division was at an upper-middle level, showing the characteristics of "high knowledge and low behavior".2.The scientific fitness literacy of community health care workers in Shihezi City of the 8th Division can be divided into 3 categories: high scientific fitness literacy group(15.10%),medium scientific fitness literacy group(59.90%),and low scientific fitness literacy group(25.00%).The different scientific fitness literacy categories were influenced by gender, years of work experience,education,fitness,self-perceived health, and exercise self-efficacy.3.The health status of community health care workers in Shihezi,8th Division,is not optimistic, with varying degrees of health problems.4.Different potential categories of scientific fitness literacy among community health care workers in Shihezi City of the 8th Division are closely related to health status. The "low scientific fitness literacy group" had the highest risk of subhealth and developing diseases, targeted interventions should be made to improve the scientific fitness literacy level of community health care workers to improve their health status. |
