Objective: This topic explores the clinical effectiveness of "three-step therapy" combined with acupoint massage in the treatment of meibomian gland dysfunction dry eyes, accumulating experience for external treatment of traditional Chinese medicine for dry eyes, providing scientific basis and enriching diagnosis and treatment ideas.Research methods: Observe 72 patients(144 eyes)who met the inclusion criteria in the ophthalmology clinic of Changchun University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from October2021 to November 2022,and the randomized controlled subjects were divided into observation group and control group, with 36 cases in each group. All patients adopted the same daily management and given Chinese medicine fumigation, meibomian gland massage and cleaning treatment, once every 5 days,6 times for a course of treatment. The observation group combined acupoint massage treatment on this basis.Observe the international Eye Table Disease Index questionnaire(OSDI),tear film rupture time(BUT),tear secretion test(SIT),corneal fluorescein sodium staining score(FL),meibomgland function score and adverse reactions before and after treatment.SPSS 26.0 software was used for statistical analysis.Results:1.After treatment between the observation group and the control group, the table of the international ocular surface disease index questionnaire(OSDI),tear membrane rupture time(BUT),tear secretion test, sodium staining score(SIT),corneal(FL),eyelid, eyelid gland opening, eyelid gland secretion traits and eyelid gland secretion function were improved significantly(P <0.05).2.The improvement of the integration table of the International Eye surface Disease Index questionnaire(OSDI),tear film rupture time(BUT),and tear secretion test(SIT)were significantly better than that of the control group(P <0.05).3.There was no significant difference in the corneal fluorescein sodium staining score(FL)and the eyelid margin and eyelid gland opening score, eyelid gland secretion trait score, and eyelid gland secretion function score between the observation group and the control group(P> 0.05).4.The treatment response rate of the observation group(88.24%)was higher than that of the control group(81.82%)(P <0.05).5.Both the observation group and the control group had no eye and systemic adverse reactions, such as redness, eyelid edema, subconjunctival hemorrhage, skin itching, allergy, and so on,during the treatment period, and this therapy was safe.Conclusion:1."Three-step therapy" combined with acupoint massage can significantly relieve the subjective symptoms of MGD patients, improve tear secretion, tear membrane stability, and eyelid gland function.2.Compared with "three-step therapy" combined with acupoint massage and traditional Chinese medicine fumigation, eyelid gland massage and cleaning treatment,it has a better effect in improving subjective symptoms, tear secretion and tear film stability.3.No adverse reactions occurred in the "three-step therapy" combined with acupressure massage treatment, which has high safety and operability. |
