Study Professor Zhao Weimin’s Medication Rule For Migraine Based On Data Mining Technology

Objective: To find out the regularity of Professor Zhao Weimin’s prescriptions for treating migraine,and to provide an empirical method for treating migraine with traditional Chinese medicine.Methods:1.Through following the teacher’s visits,patients with migraine treated by Professor Zhao Weimin at the outpatient clinic of the Affiliated Hospital of Changchun University of Chinese Medicine from December 2021 to October 2022 were collected,and 218 migraine cases were obtained after strict screening of inclusion and exclusion criteria.2.Input the patients’ basic information,symptoms,tongue manifestations,pulse conditions,syndromes and prescriptions into the "Ancient and Modern Medical Case Cloud Platform",and analyze with data mining methods;Through the statistical analysis module,obtain the traditional Chinese medicine with the highest frequency of drug use and the tropism of nature and taste;Obtain the common drug pairs through association analysis module;Obtain the core party through the complex network analysis module,and finally sort out,analyze and summarize the results.Results:1.The study found that among 218 migraine patients,female patients were more than male patients,accounting for 82.11% and 17.89% respectively.2.The study found that the main symptoms of migraine patients were unilateral headache,fatigue and anorexia,and accompanied by symptoms such as headache,poor sleep,nausea,etc.3.In this study,192 herbs were used in 309 prescriptions.The top 20 herbs in terms of frequency of use were: Dahurica dahurica(293),Paeonia lactiflora(277),Radix Bupleurum(267),Pericarpium chenopodium(266),Scutellaria baicalensis(260),Phellodendron chinensis(240),Huanglian(223),Temperate bamboo leaf(212),Acorus calamus(209),Ligusticum chuanxiong(201),Safflower(199),Citrus aurantium(193),Radix Aromaticus(189),Yuan Zhi(183),Dragon Bone(182),Oyster(182),Lily(181),Shou Wu Vine(177),Yu Jin(167),Mudan Pi(159).The four qi of the drugs used were mainly warm and cold;the five tastes of the drugs used were mainly pungent and bitter;the efficacy of the drugs used was to dispel wind and pain,clear heat and dry dampness,supplemented by draining the liver and relieving depression,etc;the meridians of the drugs used were mainly the liver,heart,stomach,lung and spleen meridians;the common pairs of drugs obtained by applying association rules were: Chai Hu-Bai Shao,Chuan Xiong-Bai Shao,Citrus Aurantium-Chai Hu,Peppermint-Bai Zhi,etc.Through cluster analysis of the panel,the frequency of drugs was greater than 140,and a total of four core clusters of medicinal flavours ≥ 3 were extracted,namely:(1)safflower,light bamboo leaf,calamus,and yujin;(2)keel bone,oyster,shouwu vine,farmer’s root,and lily of the valley;(3)Chuanxiong,hedgehog shell,and incense herb(4)Huanglian,Houpu,Chenpi,scutellaria,dahurica,white peony,and Chaihu.Using complex network analysis,the core class of formulae was derived: Hou Pu,Bai Dahurica,Scutellaria,Bai Shao,Chai Hu and Chen Pi.Conclusions: Professor Zhao Weimin advocated that the treatment of migraine patients should mainly focus on soothing the liver and relieving depression,dispelling wind and relieving pain,supplemented by strengthening the spleen and removing phlegm,promoting clearing and removing turbidity.Most of them should be treated with the liver and spleen together,and focusd on the application of sedative drugs.
