Objective: This study relied on root theory and data mining research methods, analyzed written materials and mined outpatient medical records, and summarized the theoretical basis, medication rules and academic thoughts of Professor Liu Tiejun’s treatment of constipation type irritable bowel syndrome by using the theory of zang-viscera toxin and fu-viscera filth. To enrich the theory of TCM treatment of IBS-C,to provide ideas for the clinical treatment of IBS-C and inherit the experience of famous traditional Chinese medicine. Methods: 1.Root theory research method: 11 articles reflecting Professor Liu’s treatment of IBS-C will be analyzed through three-level coding, and information from seven aspects such as academic origin and academic views will be deeply analyzed,so as to summarize the theoretical basis of Professor Liu’s treatment of by using the theory of zang-viscera toxin and fu-viscera filth.2.Data mining research methods: 300 cases of IBS-C treated by Professor Liu Tiejun in the outpatient department from September 2020 to June 2022 were collected, and the TCM inheritance assistance platform(V2.5)was used to summarize the diagnosis and treatment rules and academic thoughts of Professor Liu in the treatment of IBS-C.Results: 1.Professor Liu Tiejun’s academic thoughts have a profound influence on his clinical practice. When treating patients with constipation type irritable bowel syndrome,he always adheres to the theory of zang-viscera toxin and fu-viscera filth as the basis, combined with TCM theories, such as holistic concept, treatment based on syndrome differentiation and classification, treatment by stages, and TCM "lower method".The tutor divided the disease into 7 syndrome types to treat and remove filth from the fu organs.Through Chengqi Decoction, rhubarb and other purging and dispelling evil prescriptions or drugs, the filth is discharged from the body, the physiological function of the large intestine is restored, and the qi mechanism of the zang-fu organs is regulated.2.In this study, there were 192 female cases, accounting for 64%,and 108 male cases, accounting for 36%,with the age of 50-59 years old(85 cases)being the most.Red tongue, yellow moss, pulse fine number, dry stool more. There were 7 types of syndrome, and the gastrointestinal heat syndrome(48.3%)was the first.A total of 116 traditional Chinese medicines were used,of which cold drugs(45.79%)and bitter drugs(33.48%)were the most frequently used, spleen channel(2012 times)was the most frequently used,rhubarb(195 times)was the most frequently used, rhubarb 3g(57.9%)was the most frequently used.In this study,22 TCM combinations,32 drug association rules,10 groups of core drug combinations,4 groups of new prescription combinations and 7 commonly used classical prescriptions were extracted. Conclusion: Under the guidance of basic theories of TCM such as holistic concept of TCM,treatment based on syndrome differentiation, stage treatment, and lower method of TCM,and based on the theory of "viscera toxicity and fu-organs are dirty",the tutor thinks that the disease is located in the large intestine, which is related to the dysfunction of multiple viscera organs, mostly caused by qi stagnation, cold and heat disorder, deficiency of qi and blood Yin and Yang.Clinical treatment is mainly to regulate the fu-qi,including regulating qi,clearing heat, dispersing cold to attack evil and Tongfu,or tonifying qi and blood Yin and Yang to strengthen the fu-fu;the tutor make good use of classical prescription, active use of the opposite medicine, attach importance to use rhubarb for syndrome differentiation treatment of this disease, and pay attention to the spleen and stomach.
