| Objective:.To explore the difference in the efficacy of the two treatment devices after fenestration and drainage of large jaw cystic lesionsMethods:From January 2020 to January 2023,a study was conducted in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery of Yijishan Hospital, the First Affiliated Hospital of Wannan Medical College, and 42 patients with decompression were selected from many jaw cysts Postoperative pathology which was clearly diagnosed as cystic lesions of the jaw.Among them 20 cases wear traditional device,22 cases wear postoperative modified device(the modified plugs used in this study has been patented, patent number:ZL 2020 2 1720904.9),collect the patient information, including case data, surgical process, preoperative original image and 3-9 months after image(panoramic,CBCT),postoperative device wear comfort at the visit three months after surgery, etc.Through the analysis of the above data,we study whether there is a significant difference in the effect of two kinds of treatment vessels for the larger jaw cyst(the longest diameter is greater than 3.0cm),so as to guide the clinical choice of treatment wear in patients after the window drainage of jaw cyst.Results:① Patients were divided into observation group(modified device)and control group(conventional device)according to the device worn.Among them,22 were in the observation group, the median age was 27.00(16.75,44.75)years,and 20 in the control group was 47.50(29.00,55.00)years.The results were not significant between the two groups.② For the two groups of patients, the application effect and comfort of the two types of plugs were comprehensively evaluated based on the design questionnaire of convenient removal and wearing, easy cleaning, retention and comfort. The results showed that the patients in the observation group were better than the controls in terms of comfort, cleaning and the convenience(r<0.05).However,there was no significant difference in the convenient application effect of the two groups(r<0.05).③Using the postoperative image data of each group minus the original image data before treatment to calculate the difference between the decrease of cyst diameter at months 3,6,and 9,to compare the difference between the groups(including time and group). There was no significant difference between preoperative cyst diameter(5.19± 1.72cm)between the observation group and the control patients(4.67± 1.19cm)(P>0.05).The observation group and the control group decreased in March,June and September(P<0.05)),and the observation group decreased in June and September better than that in the control group(P<0.05)).Conclusion:For the choice of dressing worn in patients after window drainage of jaw cysts, both the improved and traditional plugs have good drainage effect, but the improved dressing drainage effect is better. |
