Objective: By observing the nursing effect of Huolong cupping therapy on patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)stable stage lung spleen deficiency type, this study summarizes and analyzes the impact of Huolong cupping therapy on traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores, respiratory difficulty, quality of life, and satisfaction with therapeutic effects of COPD stable stage lung spleen deficiency type patients. This provides reference and reference for further improving COPD clinical symptoms and conducting related research on Huolong cupping therapy. Methods: This study selected 74 stable COPD patients with lung spleen deficiency type who were diagnosed and treated in the Department of Pulmonary Disease at a tertiary A hospital in Shenzhen from December 2021 to December 2022 as the research subjects. They were randomly divided into a control group and an experimental group with 37 cases each. The control group received routine treatment and care, while the experimental group received fire dragon cupping therapy on this basis. Objective nursing effectiveness evaluation was conducted through traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score, improved British MRC dyspnea index(mMRC),COPD assessment test(CAT),and COPD efficacy satisfaction questionnaire(ESQ-COPD).Result:1.Baseline Comparison: There was no significant difference in gender, age, educational background, course of disease,BMI,smoking history, and TCM syndrome score,mMRC,CAT,ESQ-COPD between the two groups before intervention, which was comparable.2.TCM Syndrome Score: After intervention, both groups of patients improved in coughing, expectoration, wheezing, shortness of breath, abdominal distension, fatigue, dizziness, spontaneous sweating, and loose stools compared to before intervention(P<0.05).After intervention, there was a significant difference in individual syndrome scores between the groups(P<0.05).3.Efficiency comparison: The total effective rate in the experimental group was91.43%,while the total effective rate in the control group was 83.78%.The experimental group was superior to the control group.4.mMRC score: There was no significant difference in mMRC scores between the two groups of patients before and after intervention(P>0.05).After intervention, there was no significant difference in mMRC scores between the two groups(P>0.05),and there was no significant difference between the control group and the experimental group.5.CAT score: There was a significant difference in CAT scores between the two groups of patients before and after intervention(P<0.05).After intervention, there was a significant difference in CAT scores between groups(P<0.05),and the experimental group was superior to the control group.6.ESQ-COPD score: After intervention, both groups of patients improved in terms of work and life ability, clinical symptoms, treatment effectiveness, treatment convenience, overall efficacy, and total score compared to before intervention(P<0.05).After intervention, there was no significant difference between groups in the field of work and life abilities(P>0.05),while there were significant differences in other fields(P<0.05).7.During the whole treatment period, there was no adverse reaction in both groups. Conclusion: The combination of Huolong cupping therapy and routine treatment and nursing can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of COPD patients with stable lung spleen deficiency type, reduce traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores, improve patients’ quality of life and satisfaction with efficacy, and have high clinical application safety. |
